Doesn't seem to be targeted. Haven't received any communication about this but happy to give it a crack for my next Afterpay payment and Telstra bill to see if I get anything back.

    • Thanks for taking one for the team.

Seems like the credit won't appear until Autumn though!

        • I saw that also. Not worth it for me.

    • Hi, don't think I got any comms about this either. Interested to hear how you go.

  • Will it work with debit cards?

    • your Westpac credit card

  • I didn't got the email for this. What's the cashback rate for this?

    • $5 Cashback up to $50 When You Spend $10 or More on Food Delivery, Entertainment, Phone and Internet, Plus Online Shop @ Westpac

      • it is not clear. $10-5 or $10-50? how much spend to get $50 back?

Weird this isn't getting more traction?

$5 cashback for a $10 transaction is great! And being able to do that 10 times is just gravy! Will give it a go with some food delivery. I don't see how they could possibly know whether you save the card / set it as default payment method so it seems like you just need to make the spend?

  • We don't have to activate this offer, do we? Seems too good to be true as it means 45% off for Netflix lowest plan.
Just wish the $5 cashback could be paid each month rather than all in one go 10-12 weeks atter 28/01/22.

  • "^Please refer to email or direct mail communications received from Westpac for details on eligible credit card."

This makes me think its targeted?

  • Watch out dodgy westpac definitely won’t deliver on this. They rarely deliver on these cashback deals

    • To be fair, they deliver on the Westpac Extras ones. I've been paid out for IGA ($20 spend for $5 credit) just the other week.

  • My $5 is not reflecting in my account and i just spoke with the rewards team and they said the offer is not linked to my CIS number and that they will escalate it. Not worth the trouble with westpac rewards!

    • Did you ever get the e-mail or communication about it? I didn't so not fussed if the $5s never show up.

Furthermore, if it's related to this specific deal:

Cashback will be paid as a statement credit to your eligible credit card account within 10-12 weeks of the offer end date, 28 January 2022.

  • Nope. I thought it was not targeted? A rep from westpac chat advised it should be credited after 7 days of spend and told me to call rewards team. Anyway not to fussed for 5$ but thought id share my exp

    • Pays to read this sentence again:

Cashback will be paid as a statement credit to your eligible credit card account within 10-12 weeks of the offer end date, 28 January 2022.

  • ref " This cashback is limited to one transaction per eligible merchant/brand capped at $50." Does that mean you can only get one $5 for a single merchant no matter how many times you transact $10+ with them?
