"for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health" ???

How does this go with… tomatoes ?

    • +6

Yes interested as well for my "basil"

      • +11

I've become so suburban I actually would like to know how well it works with real basil

        • +1

I have the Bunnings version. Works really well for Basil

      • Yeah man, basil dying back in winter is super annoying because basil goes great in tomato sauce.

    • +1

tomatoes are too big for it

  • For the plant food you can just buy it in generic bulk from ebay no need to use their overpriced branded version

    • +4

Keen to see a link to any recommended please?

  • +3

Grow fresh "herbs". Do your herbs have buds..

  • +1

Recent reviews are pretty shocking. Personally wouldn’t touch this product given the many comparable options.

    • +1

gotta disagree as a user, these are awesome at giving your veggies a jump-start from seed.

    • +4

Also got to disagree mine grew a jungle of basil. My main complaint is im too lazy to make home made pesto so its just sitting there looking at me.

  • Sounds like the single issue is the roots get stuck in the pump, which means you'll need a seperate tank - not the end of the world.

Ah but this would do a better job https://www.hydroexperts.com.au/Nutrifield-Pro-Pot-DWC-Syste…

just buy a plastic container and two 60cm led tube lighting will work out cheaper than this.

    • +1

Needs to be UV led with reflectors… Got a link?

      • no, plants grow fine without uv

  • How do I apply the coupon code to my order to get the discount?

    • Hello,
Thanks for your comment and please click the code to copy to clipboard, and use it when you paying, thanks

      • Code is not working.

  • +1

probably not big enough for my 'sage'

    • +3

You could germinate them in this, but at 37cm extension it wont produce enough sage to have all your mates over for a sage cooking session.

  • +7

Is it big enough for my 'marijuana'?

    • +3

You'll want more than a hobbyist countertop model if you're hoping to establish an "illegal drug producing commercial enterprise"

  • +1

It's going to be expensive tomatoes~~~!!!

  • Any recommendations for seeds? Just any old seeds, or are there "dwarf" varieties that work better with this sort of system?

  • Anyone got suggestions on where I can buy some |sage| seeds? PM if you prefer.

  • Is this only for the black one?

    • Lame. 👎
