  • great. 110 days free

  • Anybody stupid enough to fall for "Interest Free! (but there's an establishment fee calculated on a percentage basis)" deserves what they get.

Is it normal that they charge $20 for Card Replacement Fee? I don't recall being charged to replace lost cards from major banks

    • It was 2 decades back

    From T&Cs:

A cardholder with a credit limit of $1000 will need to spend the entire card limit and repay the card balance in full each month in order to reach the minimum spend. Transactions may take up to 3 days to clear.

  • Their "check your bank accounts" Illium system is horrible, needed to disable 2FA and then it took the details from the wrong account.

Have used Illium in the past with 2FA and it's been able to select which bank account I wanted to download info from, so it's definitely an integration issue coded by humm90.

  • westpac is $650 rebate with $3000 spend

  • This is perhaps a better deal then people might think - no fee and no international transaction fee. Pretty good for those heading overseas!

    • where does it say about no international transaction fees? I can't find it

  • I received a letter with the offer after signing up and in addition to the above excluded payment types they added in BPAY payments as well!

    Beware before signing up!

  • Interesting IKEA purchase over $250 is singled out as excluded. Is it because many buy and return??

  • Weird application process, and weird support (unsupport) staff.

  • I got rejected

    • How come you got rejected?? How was a credit history? I'm keen to apply as well. As I'm buying around 5k stuff(GOODS) on December and don't wanna miss 400 cashback. What does Have a clear credit file means i had a good credit score of 647 do you think i will get approved?? Can anyone please shed some light here.cheers!!

Signed up very quickly, system is ok, but just noticed I've got charged the $99 - beware!

Edit: horrendous "live chat". First they denied it was an invalid charge, then took 25 mins to get them to 'send an email to the relevant team'.

    • No charge for me - i'll look out for it. Does have some quirks though, like not being able to tap on the first use (thought the card was not working).

    • Just had my fee refunded after a 11 day wait ho-humm

Also to note the app on android is a bit weird and transactions dont load very smoothly

Ditching this as soon as (i hope) the cashback is paid

  • Looks like govt charges are eligible purchases? Don't see them excluded in the terms and conditions. Can someone confirm?

    • "Eligible card spend transactions do not include cash advances, balance transfers, Long-term Finance purchases, IKEA card swipe transactions over $250, Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) & BPAY Online payments"

As long as you don't use BPAY to pay for them they would appear to qualify.

I was charged annual fee. I am not sure if I will receive cashback either. May be I will get annual fee and cashback both at the end of offer. Already spent 4k+

    • Just went through the application and cancelled it as I noted the $99 annual fee was there also. I think the issue at the end of the application I was offered the humm90 Mastercard and not the "humm90 Platinum Mastercard" which is what the promotion is for to waive the $99 fee, and of course that was what I clicked on. I did opt in for a very low credit limit which may have triggered this, but there was nothing in the application process that disclosed this.

I think it's deceptive to have a promotional offer like this, and then substitue a different card in with fees attached to it.

  • I got humm90 Platinum card and still got charged 99 annual fee. I was hoping $0 annual fee for the first year. I am going to call them and provide update here.

    • I just went through the application process again, I requested a 4k credit limit on the card this time (last time it was 2k). I got to the acceptance stage where I need to enter in my agreement to the conditions.

Once again, product name is "Humm90 Mastercard". This would appear to be a different product that then humm90 Platinum Mastercard that I applied for.

Annual fee is listed as $99 (which is true for the Platinum as well), but then it specifically mentions the fee will be charged at the time the first debit is charged to your humm90 Account and annually on the anniversary fo the date.

I talked to them via the chat and they said that the promotion gets applied regardless of the terms and conditions, and there's no difference between the Humm90 Mastercard and the Humm90 Platinum Mastercard - they are the same product.

I've saved a copy of the chat.

      • Is it possible that it is just the naming of the card? I went and check Humm90 website and they only offer 1 card - no mention of just the Humm90 Mastercard. Having said that, i didn't pay too much attention at the end of the application to notice whether it is saying Humm90 Mastercard or Humm90 Platinum Mastercard.

Yeah…I updated my comment above and clarified that it is indeed the same card, they just refer it to two different names.

  • I called customer services and I was told that it will take 2 working days for them to know if I am eligible for waving first year fee and also if I am eligible for cashback. I am planning to follow up again tomorrow. The communication wasn't straight forward lots of hmmm aaan.

    • any update? are they strict on the income? my wife has casual job and just pass the $25000 mark.

Ive signed up for this card and also realized last week i was charged the annual fee.

Agreed with others on the horrendous live chat.

Ive had no luck so far removing or even getting them to acknowledge the incorrect annual fee was charged. I have tried over livechat, phone and email in the past week.

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS CARD unless you enjoy headaches!

    • Thanks for the heads up, will not sign up

  • Spoke to them and they refunded a the annual fee the day after.

As OP I agree this deal is very poorly set up. I can only suggest you take screenshots of the deal page which is currently still up.

  • I called again today and the rep said they would request internal dep for refund the annual fee.
