Read the articles on Solar Quotes. Everything you need to know is in that one site

    • Also note that they get kickbacks for recommending various suppliers
The recommendations may not truly reflect what is cheapest.

Took out this deal around 4 months ago and haven't had any issues.
Do note that if they are a new company there is a possibility of the warranty not being carried out fully.

However you weigh up the gain from cheap prices.

You don't need to engage a supplier from Solar Quotes - the articles and ratings for the different manufacturers are itself very valuable to read. It'll tell you pretty much everything you need to look at and be able to call bullshit on some of the stuff solar companies try to tell you.

    • Damn, thats expenno

Merged from Solar power Perth install recommendations

Hi good morning ,we're really thinking off getting solar power to reduce our electric bills (family of 4,2young kids) 4x2 house Perth.

Looking on recommendations/ experiences on installers and equipment you would recommend

    Cheers many thanks.

      1. Read solarquotes.com.au articles until you know what you want

      2. Ask for a couple of quotes

      3. Consider between the ones where they did a site visit, using information from solarquotes to know which uses good equipment and which doesn't, and read reviews on each installer

      4. If you are still stuck after that, ask on the My Efficient Electric Home Facebook page, or try here again

Too many variables for us to tell you what is the best for you. You need to do some research.

    • from 14 Feb 2022, all WA solar works to include remote shutoff switch, just FYI.

      • What does that mean? The government can turn your power off? Or is to isolate the network in case of too much power input from solar panels?

        • yes, WP wants to be able to turn off rooftop solar if the network isn't balanced. And with that, your solar projected ROI is out of the window(s).
