Was it solar variant? I have never seen a instinct solar below 500aud.
Actually, as you prob know Amazon links can be a bit deceptive or link to different variants. I just checked notes I made at the time I was looking and the Garmin Instinct Solar went down to $380 back in Sep, not the $273 I mentioned in the original comment, sorry.
I do remember JB had agreed to price match it and sent me through a link. I didn't buy it in the end, as I decided I didn't need it. But if you combined it with JB 10% off gift cards then you'd get an Instinct Solar for $340, which is sweeter than $500+

I was watching these watches a little while ago and they fluctuate in price quite wildly on amazon.
The Camo variant went down to as low as $273 back in August 2021. I couldn't figure out whether to get one or not, and as I watched them, the prices changed every day.
