This is not compact. According to the add it folds up to 12cm*27cm.
The person with it in their hand must be a giant 🤯
I think a cheep self inflating may from kmart would be better than this. Cheeper, less work and just as portable.

    • It's not the most compact but still pretty good given that the mattress itself is quite big (190cm long)

    • No self inflating mat will be anywhere near 12x27cm. This is a fine size - not sure how small you are expecting? Especially for $35.

      • it's not "self-inflating" I think you are confusing this mat with those that have foam inners. They are normally listed as "self-inflating" this listed mat needs pumping up. I agree those ones that have the foam would never be compact nor small. But a 100% air mattress can be quite small, I have a sea to summit for 5 day hikes and its much small than this one. (* also much higher priced too!)

        • I know, I was replying to the first commenter.

How small is your sea-to-summit? (I consider this cheapy pretty small. I have a klymit, good brand, not much / any smaller per blown up area I suspect).

          • @afoveht: I have 2, but the one I use the most (pending where I sleep) is the 'comfort light' size packed is 8.5 x 17 cm. My other is the comfort plus insulated for cold nights, its 14.5 x 24 CM packed.

@equinoxxx: That small one gotta be a smaller mat generally?

Anyway, I have 2 cheapies that I got for my kids / friends, similar to this but no pillow / pump, I think maybe around $20 each, used them a couple of times (kids, not me) just overnight and they held up ok. (Maybe not advisable for large adults on a multiday hike, I don't know.)

              • @afoveht: Both are 'regular' sizes. Yeah when you are hiking multi day, every gram and cm counts in your bag. I even went down from a 75 litre bag to a 55 just to save weight, mind you I had to sacrifice a few things when that happened. My feet thanked me though hah!

    • This is not compact. According to the add it folds up to 12cm*27cm

      I consider that quite compact

      less work

Takes 10-60 seconds to inflate according to a few reviews

  • Good price. Anybody have one and can comment on it?

Seems pretty expensive compared to this deal from a few months back.

Hi Rep, how does yours differ from the this one on Aliexpress, on sale 11.11 - US$15.91 + $1.76 shipping + GST US$19.44 (~AU$26.30)
This doesn't appear to be a bargain. More like using Ozbargain for free advertising.

I asked last time as well but you never answered.

    • Not OP but it looks like this model has the built in foot pump like this oneand the one in your link requires an external source of wind.

Inbuilt pillow is a pain because you can't adjust to comfort. I suggest a matt and separate pillow that you can move and blow up at will.

    • Also, instead of carrying around a separate pillow you can just bring along a thin pillowcase and stuff it with your spare clothes. I have numerous times just wrapped my spare clothes like a parcel into a small microfibre towel (got from the awesome Kathmandu deal years ago) and it works well. Personally it's much comfier than any blow-up pillow.

  • This code is also for these two sleeping pads
    Green: https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B095GJR3FP($34.01)
    Black(Thickness ): https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0983R9JMZ($37.02)

  • I thought it was a keyboard at a quick glance lol

  • Cheaper elsewhere as above.
