  Will have a PS5 hopefully within the next 6 weeks (Good Guys backorder) and hoping to end up with 3 controllers, one of each colour. Will there be better deals in that time? Also looking to get my hands on Ratchet and Clank and I know there occasionally decently priced bundles so not sure if I should pull the trigger on a red and black now

    For Red this is the lowest it's been. Black has been $84. Ratchet & Clank bundles I'm not sure. There might be lower prices during Black Friday / Cyber Monday but I don't imagine Black/Red will drop below $75.

    Also note, if the only four player games you are playing are PS4 games you can use DS4 controllers. I've got 2 DualSense and 2 DS4 controllers for my PS5 console when playing PS4 games. You can't use DS4 controllers to play PS% games.
    Wow: turns out DS4 controllers are just as expensive at retail as DualSense. They dropped to $49 late last year. I guess you might be able to find some 2nd DS4 controllers cheaply, but you would want the latest version (CUH-ZCT2) (pairs more easily as a bluetooth controller with some devices).

    How soon will you need a 2nd controller?

    If you've got It Takes Two or Sackboy or local multiplayer straight up, then maybe grab this now, the Red/Black really hasn't been any cheaper than this (sans BNPL).

    If you've got time, wait it out, repeat or slightly better prices might come around, especially with the holidays/spending seasons so close.

    I don't want a 2nd white Dualsense but have been watching Red/Black prices for a month or two now and consider this price as good as it gets without trying to predict some unforeseen drop in some unpredictable timeframe. Considering the supply issue of PS5 and no 3rd party controllers, really can't see much of a better price on the red/black anytime soon.

    They work through steam as well. Been using my dualsense with both DS4windows and Steam with no issues, same as my dualshock

        I've made it simple by supplying the correct links in the OP. Click the links in the OP and then click add to cart. $20 will be taken off at checkout.

        If you simply search the item on Catch it won't work. To get the discount manually you need to find the $20 off $100 spend event. Then scroll through the event page until you find the controller and then click add to cart.

  Thanks OP! Managed to get 15% cashback with Max and free shipping with a Club Catch trial so came to around $76. Good deal for a red controller. Since these are new, I don't expect them to go on sale for Black Friday (but maybe I won't open mine to be safe).

    Same, except I got $76 after 15% Shopback today, and opted for Target pick-up (1km from home).

    Decided to pull the trigger on the Cosmic Red after a lot of umming-and-ahing. It feels silly to make an electronics purchase two week prior to Black Friday, but let's see if they beat the $70s…
