A couple years ago, but I also got sized for 8.5X, usually wear 10.5/11 for my shoe size. I think they said that only Tambo shoes come in X sizes.

PSA: RM Williams store won't help you swap sizes if you got it wrong.
Do you know if they'll swap if you got the wrong width - like a normal fit instead of the wide?
Not if you didn't buy it from the RM Williams store. Well YMMV.. But I was told today that they won't.
They do swap it as long as there is no signs of wear.

I tried. Phone call few days prior and been told that as long as it's new condition then "they can work it out". Attended the store, got refused.
Depends on the employee there, some are just a pain. Just make sure you call the same store you're planning to visit prior to going. Happened to me today where I got declined by one store so I simply went to another in the next suburb and got my swap with no problems.
Ah right. I think the issue with mine is I had the kangaroo craftsman, where they don't have any stocks everywhere but over east!
Wondering if anyone can shed any light on their widths? I got sized up in an RM store and they said I'm a 8.5 X (as in wider than H). But I've never seen X width on any online retailer or even in RM's own size chart.
Is this just a a terminology thing? Can I safely get H width or is X a special extra wide that online exists in the stores?
