Was recently booking flights with Qatar and scraped the web for a promo code.
Found this, paying via Paypal is the only ask. Brought my flights down from $6.5k to $6.2k, which was nice.

      Base fare makes up like half the total fare, rest are taxes etc so kinda makes sense

    Do you guys know if a purchase is processed as an International Transaction? Can one use an ING card through PayPal in this case or only PayPal balance?

    This mob has refused to refund or credit for a ticket for a flight they cancelled due to stopping flights during COVID restrictions. I would not trust them going forward. Even Fair Trading said they have been notorious ratbags.
    They even have deep in the fine print a clause of agreement that they can keep your money in the event of this happening, and yes they will quote that when you claim through PayPal or credit card charge back. Sick.

      I think there is more to your story, as an agent I know they have been one of the best on refunding and giving credits . I would never use them again after Qatar's treatment of women at the airport though….

        I would hope they have had more decency refunding other customers. However they point out it was not a premium flexible fare and it's relevant fine print, and therefore cannot be refunded or rebooked even due to flights cancelled because of COVID restrictions. This is all in writing. Seriously nothing more to it, staunch on pocketing the fare, seriously not what you'd expect, but then again how they shockingly violated all those women is far worse.

      refunded in full for my 2 J class tickets September 2020, took 3 days and no questions asked. Paid Through Paypal. your not telling us the full story.

    Yep not flying Qatar again, screwed me over while I was trying to come back from overseas during COVID. Kept moving me to another flight 3 weeks later, only to move me again and again, before just outright cancelling.

    One booking with SIA and they got me back to Aus.

    I seriously caution anyone travelling Qatar Airways. I booked last month for travel in December 2021 with Qatar Airways out of Brisbane. Got notification they cancelled my flights last week and offered no alternative flights. They are also being difficult with a refund, at this stage they tell me 12 weeks to process a refund, how much they slug me in fees, I have no idea. Had to book and pay again for alternative flights with United Airlines to keep my travel plans.

    It worked on a trip to Europe (total 6.5% discount across full price), however when adding the last leg (a national flight) the code doesn't apply :( I thought it would still apply across the main flights but instead it simply doesn't discount anything. What a shame.

    This is a universal code so should work site-wide on all flights but for the life of me I can't get this to work…I apply the promo code for my flights from Adelaide to Peshawar…it says the code is successfully applied but than no change in the prices..the prices remains the same with or without the code…after choosing the PayPal as payment and getting to the last payment page…No Change….what am i doing wrong…?? Help plz

    Couldn't seem to get either MASTERCARD or PAYPALAU to work for flights from Doha to Larnaca.

    Edit: Tried Brisbane to Doha and confirmed the price discounts, so it might only work from departures from Australia?
