RRP of watches are like Persian Rugs prices….

I have the King Samurai version of this. The dial looks so nice in person, and the strap is so comfortable.

Great price this, will hold off on any purchases, Starbuy does a pretty good Black Friday sale.

This is the lowest I've ever seen so far, pity I just bought the 2018 save the ocean version from Shiels 2 days ago…….

  • Hmmm damn I've already bought a watch this week….

  • Is it made in Japan to their domestic market standard?

    • Hi Wally

Being a SRPF77K means it is made in Korea I believe?

But the standards are fairly high

I remember 'k' means outside of Japan? Made in Singapore/Malaysia? But anyway, agree with Josho, both standards are high. I owned a SRPE39K and its JDM brother SBDY063. They are identical.

        • The J add to the value at resale,
Aesthetically, it should be the same and the same specs

    • What did you buy Wally?

  • Rekon Myer would price match?

Unlikely, though worth enquiring with them if you already have gift cards to spend, otherwise StarBuy is fantastic from experience, especially since they’re an AD and provide local warranties

  • On first glance the colour is really nice. But then you look a bit more closely at the dial and see the manta rays. Not really a fan of that design, personally.

    • I’ve seen this watch (and the equivalent Samurai) in the flesh at a jewellers and I’m a big fan. Was planing on going with the King Samurai when the price was right but as I bought SRPC93J Samurai earlier in the week and don’t have a king Turtle I grabbed this one.

  • I bought this watch last week from Shiels with $150 VIP voucher for min. $500. It was also selling for $499 at Shiels so I added another $10 bangle.

  • That is a sweet looking dial

Have a look at these in person.
    They are very pretty.
They are also very large (you need solid wrists for these) - otherwise, you might be the type of person who likes to wear a wristclock.
    Probably great over a wetsuit.
I would get one but I feel it is oversized (though much nicer than TW Steel)
    YMMV.
