If it isn't obvious, this is a rotary tool accessory. I had one of these abrasive buffs from a set and used it for the first time cleaning off gasket material of a crankcase cover. It worked really well, but wore out quickly. Got a shock at the replacement value - $21.95 for a 2 pack at Bunnings! I think this price is fair value; RRP is a rip off, but I couldn't find any aftermarket alternatives. About as good as it gets according to the camels.

This is for the coarse and medium grit combination, the fine abrasive buffs are similarly priced if you need those.

Why do people struggle with imperial to metric so much…? Is it 1.1 inch or 2cm - those don't match up.. lol

  • Be aware - it needs an EZ Lock mandrel attachment to use these.

  • +$7.22 shipping from Amazon us, needs to have prime international for $6.07 price.. correct me if I'm wrong

  • You can get 40 of these with a normal mandrel for about $15 off fleabay

    • That would be a good option but the cheapest I can see is 10 for $33 in which case I think this deal with OEM parts are a better option. I was originally looking for the EZ lock fitting thinking cheaper construction would equate to a cheaper price, but it's just that proprietary fitting = price gouging.

    • Yeah i went through a few genuine Dremel ones when cleaning exhaust headers and got onto the eBay alternative - much nicer on the hip pocket!
