The Ninebot scooters are pretty well built. I'm over 100kg with my work bag and my Ninebot Max is fine after many 100's of km.

I’m also trying to decide
The xiaomi essential scooter ($479)is lighter but less range and incline ability.
This ninebot one seems similar spec wise compared to the ALDI some, although hard to say on the quality of the Aldi scooter?
Also this one has xiaomi pro 2 are priced the same, maybe xiaomi has the advantage on greater range and slightly lighter?
This scooter has 10’ wheels as opposed to 8.5 on all the other. What difference does this make?
for same money xiaomi pro2 any day.. more reliable can upgrade to go 34km/h. ninebot have glitches and if you try to increase speed they can be bricked for no reason. ninebot makes xiaomi but for whatever reason their segway brand has so many issues.
pay a premium and they give you problems free of charge.
aldi one is a clone of xiaomi2 with different controller so cant increase speed . same battery capacity but dont know what quality till someone buys and opens one up..
can the speed limiter be unlocked via a firmware flash?
