It comes standard with 1 year warranty. The $$ is for an extra year, no?
The website does say " Huion devices purchased on Huion Official Store come with a 1-year limited warranty, starting from the date of purchase." So the $129 would be for an additional year.
don't bother with any such extra warranty, if it develops a manufacturing fault, it will happen right out of the box and they will replace it.
But if it just works, then these things will last for 10+ years as long as they just sit on a desk forever. When it conks out after a decade, none of that extra year of warranty will do anything.
most issues are software rather than hardware-based when my artist circle complains about these things.
As for this deal in particular. 13 inch pro for that price sounds like meh value when you can get larger sizes for near the same price, and even the old model 12 inch version for less than 250 on amazon sales
I have been using the Kamvas 13 (not pro) for the last 6 months and it has been great.
The Kamvas 13 for $329 is an ok price, stand for $20 extra is a good deal also, the USB-C cable for $40 is way too much, but there are some cables on Aliexpress that work with it for around $15.
Note that the Kamvas 13 can work with a single USB-C cable with some computers but the Kamvas 13 Pro does not.
It works with both my Lenovo S540 and my Chromebook with a single USB-C cable.
$120 extra for a 1 year warranty? I'm pretty sure that's not meeting Australian consumer law requirements to sell a device without a warranty. It doesn't exactly fill me with confidence in the quality of the device, either…
