    Price should be $6?

    • Woops! Yes copied and pasted from my previous deal and didn't change the price. All updated now. :)

    • $6 at Woolies.
This Deal's $7.20 price isn't the cheapest price available

      • -4

you have to drive your bentley to woolies and pay petrol, insurance, rego, and time.

with amazon i click, and take a few steps to my front door and receive.

imo, amazon is a cheaper deal.

        • Why - it's a free bus ride or walk!

Then pay with accumulated REWARDS points, & receive more REWARDS points for purchase.

Much better for environment & my health - I get free exercise!

          • -1

@INFIDEL: unfortunately we all don't have mansions like you with a woolies next door. :(

            • @Hugh G Rection: Believe me, I'd move to a better area if Woolies was my neighbour!

It's just far enough away for a nice stroll through the park, past the Golf Club😂

But, seems some are too lazy to walk more than a few steps to my front door Sad & unhealthy😥

Woolies is cheaper (no cost using my accumulated Rewards points when spending $10), there are bonus points offers to combine it with - like 3k points on $50 spend, & no Prime membership payment.

A better Deal for me - no need to wait for delivery, follow up a possibly missing parcel (why I left Prime), & dispose of lots of unwanted packaging!
Much less stressful to just take a relaxing walk.

Would buy, except I've been using this great sprayer for years ;-)
              That's why I upvoted!

      • For those late to this Deal & negging above - See original Deal posted @$7.20

  • I have one and they're great. Bought a few for Christmas stockings

    • +16

… to oil them up so they slide on your hairy legs?

      • +1

        Where's the UNSEE key?

    • +1

Perfect if you have an air fryer

  • +3

Ir does work well. Only concern is that the container is plastic - wish it was glass

    • Doesn't a lot of oil come in plastic bottles anyway?

    • +1

Agreed, glass version would be amazing.

    • +1

lmao, good luck finding a glass version for $6

the oil that you use comes in a plastic container and will be transferring it to this plastic container. i think you will live.

      • +16

My oil comes in a glass bottle. Get away from me you plastic oil bottle peasants

        • lmao. my olive oil comes in glass, and you shouldn't be cooking with it at high heat.

  • WTF is up with the "do not immerse in water" comments on the bottle? Anyone know? I don't understand it at all. It doesn't say not to use hot water, it says ANY water

    • im guessing it will ruin the sprayer

    • It'd refer to the top sprayer part. Water would get into areas that can be dried out properly.

    • +2

I accidentally washed one of these a while ago (as soon as I'd bought it) then whilst it was on the draining board I decided to read the little leaflet in the box.

      "Do not immerse in water".

The water had become trapped between the bladder and the bottle.

      • New model has no bladder.

      • I was in the same boat. And now it's always dripping from the spray nozzle and getting down my fingers, as long as my hand acts.
        Dunno why

  • -1

    Does this ruin non-stick pan?

    • +13

I wouldn't try to pan fry this bottle…

      • -2

        LOL, but it's genuine question.

The unique easy spray action produces a superfine light mist without the use of aerosol gases

AFAIK this is no good for non-stick pan

        • +1

How do you come to that conclusion? Genuinely asking cos I've been using it for cooking or the air fryer no issues (as I'm sure others have). And by that statement it sprays out nothing but the original oil … which is obviously ok for cooking pans.

I have had the prepacked oil spray mess up a baking dish before but don't think that's related to the fact it's misted but rather something about *that" oil or propellant extras.

          • +2

@dufflover: We got a green pan from myers the other week and the instructions specifically said not to use aerosol / spray oil.

        • You are just spraying oil onto the pan. The oil is not misty like from an aerosol can.

There is no problems with it ruining the pan unless your burner was too hot for the pan in the first place.

        • +2

"superfine light mist" is an overreach from the marketing team there. It sprays a moderately light coat of oil - not as fine as the aerosol cans, but lighter than most other refillable products. A few repeat applications allows you to build up a heavier coat of oil when needed (eg. For roast veggies), which would be pretty tedious (and comparatively expensive) with the aerosol packs.

No idea why this would be a problem for non stick pans since just a light coat of oil, but I don't work at the Dupont Kitchen Technologies laboratory.

        • I use this one and I love it. It hasn't ruined my non-stick pans (yet) - I've got Tefal and Ikea non-stick pans.

        • +2

          Thanks all for the replies.

Lots of articles says aerosol spray oil easily burnt due to the mist size.
This cause build up and cause foods to stick.

It seems this doesn't really produce a fine mist like those aerosol oils.
          I'll give it a try.

    • no plastic bottle is good for frying. preferable take things out of the package, then cook it. ymmv

  • This thing is awesome

    • +1

i bought one but now what exactly do yall use this for? only scenario i can think of spraying would be a BBQ…?

      • I spray everything. Basically any time I need to cook with oil I use this.

  • I brought one and it broke before I was able to use it.

    • +12

im confused, where did you bring it from?

  • just copped one with free next day delivery :) Is there a particular cooking oil that has the least viscosity that would be best suited to this oil sprayer? or do all cooking oils have the same consistency? my thinking is that a thinner oil will help this product perform better and last longer.

  • +1

Dang it, I bought it when it was $7.20 dollars. It works alright, I don't think mine "mists" more like mine sprays? Kinda like when you close the end of the hose with your finger and the water starts to spray.

Looking at the reviews it might be me not knowing how to use the spray well? I dunno. I still think it's OK.

    • IMO even a light spray is better than having to drizzle the oil on yourself :) seems much easier to control the quantity of oil you use

      • +1

Definitely I still enjoy it. It does spray, I just don't think it produces fine enough droplets to be called misting.

    • +1

Did you fill it with water on the first use and then empty?

      • +1

Yeah. I think I should have mentioned that it still sprays, just not to a fine particle level that I'd consider it misting.

  • Good price. Bought one for $6! Thanks OP!

  • Not a fan of this, oil builds up as you use it from the spray and seeps down the bottle on the sides as well as onto the U shape part behind the trigger. Nice oil rings form after 1 use from the leakage

    • +4

Not my experience, in years of using 2 of these.

      • What sort of oils do you use it with? I usually only cook with olive oils.

        • Cobram Olive oil

Mind you, the sprayer design did change away from using a bladder inside the container in last year or so!
Mine were both the old design.

          • @INFIDEL: I ordered it and give it a go. Just 6$ at the end of the day. Nothing to cry about…

  • +2

These are awesome. I have two and one of them is years old. Highly recommend. I use mine for olive oil. I have one of the new design and one old. New design is better but the old one still works great.

  • Is this the old or new version

    • Take a wild guess.

      • I'm guessing it doesn't matter anymore as the price has gone up

      • +1

To be fair, elsewhere in the comments someone said the design had only changed in the last year or so which is quite recent for a device like this no-one knows much about. A company could very well be trying to get rid of old stock for a reduced price

People ask what generation the AirPods in a deal are every time it gets posted so this seems as relevant

        • +2

The design changed more than a year ago and they didn't start selling the new ones until the old ones were sold out. It's a spray bottle not hardware tech. Honestly, it makes no difference as they look and work exactly the same despite the old one having a bladder.

I have one of each and there's no difference in appearance or usage. Some people claim theirs leak, but people have said that for both versions.
Never had that issue myself so I guess it comes down to how peopled are using them.

    • I ordered last time there was a deal and I got one without a bladder. That should not say whether you'd receive one without a bladder, I guess.

  • +1

I can't seem to add to cart? (but seems to be in stock 24 Nov?).
    Anyone have same issue?

    • new supplier and price increase I think.

  • Price has gone up

  • I’m seeing $10.99 @ Amazon

  • OZBARGAINED

  • +5

Price beat it with Woolies pricing in a Spotlight store. Spotlight have 10% price beat. Price lowers to $5.40

  • +1

Annoying that Woolies is 'online only special' 🙄

The subtotal of $6.00 is less than the minimum spend of $30.00 for Pick up orders.

    • +1

I didn’t realise and picked one up today and had to cancel after it scanned at 12 (it was hanging on a rack with some other products price tag so no heads up there)

  • +3

If you click other buying options, There is a $3.99 buy, max 2. the only downside is it says dispatches late Dec.
