    Interested, except it's bangood.

    • Whats wrong with Banggood?

      • +2

I ordered this phone 3 weeks ago. Still waiting for delivery to metro Melbourne. Banggood is really really slow.

        • My X3 pro came in less than 2 weeks from HK, so I guess it varies from product to product?

        • +1

Courier’s poor service is to blame, not banggood. Unless Banggood haven’t processed the order at all.

        • +5

Dude, a Chinese phone in 3 weeks is actually the faster end of average. Unless you paid extra for dhl, expect no less, especially post covid.

      • +3

        They don't honor warranty.
Am having issues with them now.
        Not worth it.

      • Too many delays and delays and delays.
The shipping date keeps getting extended a day before shipping date. Multiple times until it gets annoying.

Upside. They refund quickly when they delay shipping.

        • What was the prefix for the tracking code? Mine came through PFL, tracking code starting with NEXAU

          • @celery juice: No tracking. It was never sent. Constant delays.

    • I ordered from Bangood one tablet and one phone. It said express to delivery to Melbourne however i am waiting for more than 3 weeks to get it. I never and ever buy anything from Bangood again.

Amazon: $423 a couple of days ago with 2 year warranty.
    Bangood: $405 with ?warranty

    • +1

At that price, I would go Amazon for sure.

    • +4

I wouldn't buy from Banggood anymore. They don't honor warranty.

    • I believe Amazon doesn’t provide warranty but the manufacturer does.

      • +3

you deal with amazon support though ?

  • -7

They're cheap because they're Chinese. Time to support other countries.

    • +1

      No it isn't.

  • I got it down to $409 with the coupon but that's for a 6gb/128gb.
The X3 Pro is better value at $330 and it's 8gb/256gb with a bigger battery, but it's 4G - I bought this model on 11/11 for $317 shipped

I've never had problems buying from Banggood but they take longer for delivery. I've ordered 2 motherboards from them before and returned them both because I got the wrong type. They refunded me even before they received them because I sent the tracking number

    • From GSMArena it states that the Pro also has a 3.5mm headphone jack and a card slot, but this doesn't. However, the performance seems to be ~30% better here, at least by Antutu.

Your odds of having to return a phone for warranty are pretty low. If you're only paying 400 instead of 1000+ for Apple or Samsung worth the risk imo.

I have a 256gb one of these and am very happy with it. The oled screen on this thing is same as S21+ I think. I've deleted MUI and installed a custom rom, all good.

  • OT … But relevant (to me) I think.

Do these OS businesses that charge GST actually pay it to the Aus Gov?

And how is it audited, anyone know?

    • AliExpress does, but unsure of the auditing.

  • +1

    Where I can get silver 8gb 256gb?

  • Can someone post the link for the Amazon one at $420 something with the 2 years warranty.
    Thanks

  • Anyone upgraded from a Poco X3 NFC to this? If so how is it?

    • I did, apart from the AMOLED screen, it's not worth it IMHO

      • I had read a review that battery life was better on F3 despite smaller capacity, has that been the case for you?

        • that's why I'm purchasing the F3, faster chip and better battery life

Deal breaker is no VoLTE on Telstra and Boost (can't use this phone where I work), haven't found a proper solution. I've done everything aside from flash a custom rom however I want to be certain a custom rom actually works before going through bs of flashing. Also, haven't flashed anything in years and always remember how buggy those custom roms were.

    • +1

Let me know how you go as I'm interested in getting VoLTE working.

      • I've installed arrowos 12 and yes it has volte

        • I have arrow is on my Poco x3 NFC.
And I cannot get volte to work.
          When I am in a call I lose 4g.

I tried turning in the settings and even put the volte call number code in.

If any1 knows how to fix this let me know. I tried on Kogan and an Optus Sim card

        • With telstra? I've seen volte works stock with other providers but telstra does not, from what I can tell the phone doesn't/won't download the correct apn eg IMS/HOS, it's a firmware thing

    • Yep no VoLTE means no VoNR (voice over 5G) when Telstra gets 5G calling working.

    They also have the:

    POCO X3 Pro Global Version Snapdragon 860 6GB 128GB

Pay deposit then pay rest later: Price:

    AU$275.52 Final Price

And the M3 PRO for around same price

  • Waiting for Poco F3 256/8gb version to go on sale on Amazon. I think the warranty may be worth the wait.

  • Honest question, this or Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro at $487 Mobile city? 128/8GB

  • +1

You can take the in stock status with a grain of salt. Just cancelled an order for Poco M3 exchanged to M3 pro after 4 time consuming and frustrating weeks. Banggood are advertising products not in stock because their real time stock control is crappy. Previous order for Umidigi A11 processed ok in early October as stock actually existed. Received in under 3 weeks. Buyer beware.

  • Any coupon for the 8gb/256gb version?

  • Not sure if a dumb question, but paying by amex the phone screen insurance is still valid for a site like this right?
Though possibly also not worth it since there may be quite a lot of extra conversion/cc fees etc?

  • I've never bought from Banggood before, but I just noticed an AU shipping option. How long have they had this before? Is it quicker shipping if selecting AU?

Also, what phone do you guys recommend. I don't want to spend too much, don't think I need 5G, but do need B28 as I am in a rural area. I was looking at the POCO X3 Pro five or six months ago. Not sure if that if still the phone to get in that price range or if something else better has come along https://www.banggood.com/POCO-X3-Pro-Global-Version-Snapdrag…

I was looking at the 6GB 128MB version. I'm replacing an old midrange phone from like 2015, so pretty much anything would be a decent upgrade (I don't use my mobile a lot, so didn't really have a major need to upgrade, however, it's now getting very slow and I think it's time to get something newer). Not sure about the camera on the X3 Pro though. I did want a decent camera, but at this price range, not sure there is anything that would have a better camera? If I wanted a better camera, what would I need to go up to price wise?

    • original poco x3 has a better camera than the pro.

      • What do you recommend right now for a phone in this price range? Would you say this is still the phone to get, or is there something better out now in this/similar price range?

I created a 2 person group buy in banggood for a 8/256GB in blue @ $271.20 USD ($380+ AUD). Seems like you need to be a new account/member to join so if anyone is keen, join the following.

    https://banggood.app.link/GTJeBU8zBlb

    • Thanks for the group buy AU$385.01 for midnight black, that's over $100 off the cheapest price we've seen for the black / blue 8 / 256gb Poco f3.

You should list this as a deal if we are allowed to list group buys ?

      • Missed out :( group buys are up to 505 AUD now. My guess is it was an accident.
