The Nerf N-Strike Precision Blasters TWIN PACK $28 Scoopon

11

Only $28 for 2.
Saw it cheaper on a Chinese site but not sure of their credibility.

Anyways, seems a decent price for 2 guns

  • I'd just get these from Target for $19
    http://shop.target.com.au/nerf-n-strike-nite-finder-ex-3-2-p…

Single shot units are a waste of time, if you're into Nerf guns.

  • Why all the fascination with whatever the RRP is??

    It's a complete irrelevance….

What's the bottom line price?…. is it cheaper than everywhere else?…. if so it's a good deal!

If it's not the cheapest….. neg the deal, and post where it's cheaper.

Surely we all know RRP is meaningless?

Agree, enough with the Scoopon/COTD trolling. RRP has nothing to do with the deal. Just use the Hide from Listing button if you don't want to see Scoopon deals.

I think the ACCC would think differently about the RRP being advertised.

      • +2

i disagree. $180 rrp and a "62% saving" is deceptive and people might be mislead into believing they are getting a great deal when in fact it might be the case that the street price for similar or better items might be about the same or even less.

        • +2

The funny thing is 62% off $180 isnt even $28

        • +2

This is OzBargain. Surely, we are saavy enough users to know that RRP is bs. Inflated RRPs have been around for at least the last 30 years. This site is about finding the cheapest possible prices. RRP comments while interesting are not useful in interpreting if this is a good deal. If this is the cheapest then good deal. If not, then negative vote and we can buy elsewhere.

    • I agree too, the RRP stated is clearly ridiculous. Just ignore it.

  • These exact same models sell for US$12.79 (reduced from US$19.99) at Kmart (but not in Aus unfortunately).

agreed, claims of $180 value is ridiculous

    • Kmart US don't ship to Australia. Is there anywhere available to Australia that sells this cheaper?

  • +3

Wait a minute, so negative voting a deal for wrong RRP is considered trolling, but quoting a wrong RRP in a deal to give customers the wrong impression they are getting a great saving is considered acceptable? Moderator, you better edit this deal to get rid of the wrong RRP, otherwise people can report Scoopon to Fair Trading for false advertisement.

    • The RRP is not listed on Scoopon. The OP found the RRP via a 3rd party site. Whether it was wrong or given to them by the retailer/Hasbro is unclear. Negative voting for RRP is incorrect. I have removed the RRP link to stop further incidents. Thanks.

These have been on cotd for 19.99 and were on sale at Big W in store about 3 months ago for about 15, some stores may still have them. This is a deal if still looking for these single shots, but the 28 price tag is not the best price they have been in Australia.

This is a bad price. neg'd

      This is a bad price

Can you do something useful and put up the link to where you have seen it for a better price?

      • +2

With this price you can buy 3 x EX-3
        http://www.bigw.com.au/toys/nerf/bpnBIGW_0000000250638/nerf-…

or nearly 3 x Maverick (with $1.52 more)
        http://www.bigw.com.au/toys/nerf/bpnBIGW_0000000250633/nerf-…

        What do you reckon?

        • -3

          They are different products…..
Can you link to a better price on the same product?

      • +2

I will not do anymore research for you. In my real life I have a very high hourly rate.

But really, 2 superior models are selling cheaper than this one. Can you make an educated guess that $28 this is indeed not cheap?

        • -3

For whatever reason, people may be interested in this particular model. No one has yet linked to a better price for this model.

Comparisons to other products are interesting, but should not be accompanied by a negative vote…..
