This one is definitely a price error and partly a freebie (or at least $1)!

This morning I purchased the $2 starter sim from Woolworths. It actually scanned at $1 as a 50% off was applied.

This afternoon I've gone to activate on the website using the web browser activation at https://www.amaysim.com.au/activate/ and selected the mobile Unlimited 30GB (which is currently displaying as $10 for new customers with a bonus 50GB for the first month), entered the SIM card number, picked a number, entered my details and noticed that the cart value was $0. Had to enter my credit card details and then the service was activated.

Received an invoice which was for $30 with a $30 credit!
Hope this helps someone else out.

              @DoctorCalculon: Only need them for uber etc so just used the $12 plan with code $0 cart and no CC needed.

                @randomusername2017: I decided to go the same route as you. However, for some weird reason my old starter SIM wasn't even activated. I started the whole journey using a family member's referral link, then activate SIM > Select $12 Plan > Select New Number … etc.

                If I try to activate a SIM from the dashboard, I get told: "Start getting excited - your amaysim SIM card is on its way!"

      I'm with you Travelbug. Last time I bought a $6 Sim with $6 cashback via Cashrewards.

      The SIM wouldn't activate. Called Amaysim and they wouldn't activate until I paid the extra $6 from cashback. Told em to get stuffed and they sent me a cheque for $6..redic.

        Mine shows $10 with or without referral link, in incognito mode.

        So, Amaysim have caught up in about 2 hours, and plugged the loophole in OP's description.

        @easternculture seems to have had the best luck with it.
