50% off All Neural DSP Plugins

100

Neural DSP make some of the best sounding guitar amp sims around. Their plugins are currently 50% off. If you're into producing music (rock, metal, etc) you might be familiar with these plugins already. Throw them over the top of a guitar DI, and you've for yourself something that sounds indistinguishable from a real amplifier.

The Tim Henson plugin is great for more clean tones. The Fortin plugins are amazing for djent, metal and so on.

The best! I think Gojira and Cali are the go this year. Keen on Henson at some point as well.

    • The Gojira plugin is my go to for heavy tones. I used to use the Nolly plugin Blood Eagle preset that I would throw some EQ on, but the Gojira plugin even without EQ just sounds incredible. Just grabbed the Henson, the clean tones are unreal through my Telecaster.

Nice! Picked up Cory's last year, time for Tim's.

  • They are nice, but exxy, even with 50 per cent off. Last time they had this deal I looked at them and ended up with Amplitube 5 😄

I used to be a user of Amplitube back in the day, it was my first modelling VST, and it sounded great. I didn't keep up with it though. I've been in the modelling world for a few years now since the POD days. I've had my HD500x for 7 years, but just recently bought the Quad Cortex. Neural are going to be releasing these plugins for the Cortex eventually. Are you using a DI box or audio interface?

      • Audio interface/JBL 308s at home (Focusrite 4i4), Audio interface/DI at church (iRig Stomp). The Quad Cortex looks great, but I preferred the overall versatility of Amplitube 5 over the "nicer but can't really hear the difference in the mix" of the NDSP.

Quad Cortex looks awesome, but again, pretty exxy.

  • Good for Dubstep? asking for a friend.

On a serious note, there was a girl in my class who was into that erm Korean pop? yeah K Pop, then she told us how she dropped that and went into dubstep metal?
My jaw dropped and I was like GTFO here. 2 of the most contrasting genres which had me questioning her ability to understand music as a whole.

Not Korean, but a hybrid that might match close to that?

      • I refuse to listen on the grounds that, I wont put shit in my ears.

        • Staying open minded and at least surface level interested in trying out what other people enjoy is absolutely key to happiness, my friend

          • @Doy: No it's not that, I refuse to have distorted gtrs due to my hearing issue.
