  • How much are they normally?

    • hard to tell. they popped up at this price from time to time. Or as promotions for Afterpay and the like. $350 at Apple.

Not the lowest as I purchased it for $99 on 02nd May 2021 sale from JB.

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/620725

    • Yea, the famous Moss craze, I missed out :)

      • Yes, and the best part was JB allowing people to swap the color while pickup :)

        I got the black one.

        • why did you get down-voted?

        • +3

Just because it isn't the lowest price of all time does not mean you can neg the deal,

That being said it's also on sale at TGG for $249

          • @Tehcookiemonsta: Should be mentioned in post as some people may prefer pickup

        • Some swapped, some were denied swap. And deal only lasted few hours. With one colour available it can not qualify as record low price.

        • JB did not allow me to swap colour… but for $99.. Moss is fine!!

let me fire up my time machine….

but also ye green no thx

    • That was a pricing error that JB honoured for many of us
also, the colour swap was blocked for many of us

but for $99, will keep quiet on the mossy green haha

Mine are still in the box. The ozbargainer in me took over and I didn't really need them.

this is about the usual price… $236 delivered on ebay if you ebay Plus

    • Its not usual, it dropped just now (or few days ago), by all stores, it seems.

"1 sold" on your ebay item

The Good Guys have them for the same price on their eBay store and the PLBF5 coupon code applies which makes them $236.55

As someone who got these at $99, do not buy at this price. Good value at $99, but not worth than $150.

    • Something not great about them?

      • +2

I have them, sound is amazing, I have issues with battery life, charging and initially connecting. Often only one earpiece connects and not the other. To fix I have to put both back into the case, resynch… they are painful. Best headphones though in terms of sound (better than Bose sound sport) quality which is why I persist with them.

        • I have the same pairing issues on my Airpods Pros. I think it's because they share the same H1 chip.

      • The bass sucks on them.

      • I hate the fit. It feels too tight in my ear. Even though it’s not. Just the feel is very uncomfortable. Like “my brain can’t breathe!” Uncomfortable if that makes sense. I’m used to the plantronics voyager edge

        • I got used to them after a couple of wears.

  • Any other comments on bass from current owners?

    • very weak, non existent, primary issue is, the seal is not good and there is no noise-cancelling, so you get a lot of leakage and diminished the bass
they don't punch hard, buds with single-flange silicon sleeve will delivery more punch than these

    • Nice tight, controlled bass. "The bass response of the Powerbeats Pro is remarkable" https://www.rtings.com/headphones/reviews/beats/powerbeats-p…

    • Not as comfortable as I thought they were going to be. They sort of bend the helix of my ear into a weird shape. I'm also finding that behind my ears is now an overloaded space - trying to fit sunnies, powerbeats pro, and surgical face mask loops all into that area…. creates problems for me.
Don't get me wrong - I am happy with these earbuds. But now planning to upgrade to the new Beats Fit Pro earbuds when they become available in Aus.

    • Yeah, pretty much non-existent. If you like songs with a lot of bass, these will disappoint, but otherwise sound quality is great. For comparison, I plugged in my old Sennheiser CX275s last week and was blown away how much better the bass was on those, and they aren't exactly top end.

They're exclusively my gym headphones for the convenience and I think the ~$200 or so price point felt like an okay price when I got them a year or so ago.

Skip these, even at $99. As PC/Android user their configuration and usability sucks. Get some Tao Tronics instead and save your money
