Wife saw this item discounted by 31%. Tempted to get this since (1)I am not too fussy about my coffee, (2) I am lazy and (3) I am trying to reduce my waste from coffee pods.

  • Deal of the day: PHILIPS Series 2200 Classic Milk Frother Fully Automatic Espresso Coffee Machine with 2 beverage capability, milk frother, intuitive touch display, 12-step grinder levels, Glossy Black, EP2221/40 https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B09BNT9MY9/ref=cm_sw_r_awdo_nav…

    How is this one?

    • EP2221/40 has no automatic milk frother

  • When was this Machine released? There are 2 year old videos on YouTube reviewing this machine.

    • I am pretty sure this series was released in 2019, though haven't been available here.

The 4300 is the newish one, released earlier in the year.

There was another model released with it, the 5400, but its not available here. Likely due to supply issues.

OP: You'll save $575, stay lazy, and reduce waste by sticking to instant coffee. <insert Khaby Lame photo here>

Is it really that bad that instant coffee is at par with it? Have you tried this machine before? What are its limitations? We do use instant coffee at times though now we mainly use nespresso

    • This machine does not use pods. It has an inbuilt grinder. So not sure what you meant by waste.

Have been keeping any eye on these super autos. Kind of want to wait until they sell the 5400 here as it does something extra that I like, but guess they are having trouble stocking them in other countries as well.

If anyone is looking for something comparable to the 5400, would probably be the Gaggia Magenta Prestige, though it is a bit more expensive.

    • Thanks for sharing those details… will look into the 5400 compared to the 4300 and also check out the Gaggia you mentioned… :-)

    • A bit as in 1.3 K ? 😁

  • It says "Sorry, this item can't be delivered to your selected address. You may either change the delivery address or delete the item from your order."
    Anyone has got this issue?

  • This machine got more votes when it was $837

  • Wow it actually gone oos, was still considering if I should wait for 4300 since it offers few more options for drinks
