Waiting for the next retailer to beat this price. If it actually manages to get to 4500, I'd pick one up to replace my 65 C7 and move that one to the bedroom.

  • Just need to find some at least 10% off ebay gift cards

    • +2

Be careful, eBay allows to use only 6 or 8 gift cards in one transaction (any value).

      • Ow thanks for that. Still have to get approval from the misses. I think jb with 15% off gift cards is the best value.

        • Be careful, from what i hear there isnt a whole heap of stock and may sell out today. I bought last night. Dont wanna risk waiting til the new year. The last sale ended up with 2month wait at some retailers.

      • +2

I don't see a gift card quantity restriction but I do see

No more than a total of $1,500 in Gift Cards may be redeemed per transaction

        https://pages.ebay.com.au/ebay-gift-cards-terms/

        • +2

Read a touch further… "maximum of eight Gift Cards in any single transaction"

No more than a total of $1,500 in Gift Cards may be redeemed per transaction, no more than a total of $2,000 in Gift Cards may be redeemed per day, and no more than a total of $5,000 in Gift Cards may be redeemed per calendar month. Further, you may only redeem a maximum of eight Gift Cards in any single transaction (and fewer if you are redeeming Gift Cards in combination with other redemption codes, such as coupons or vouchers).

    • +1

$1500 is the max amt of GC that you can use on one transaction.

Luv OLED, it's simply the best

  • Oof, got it from the Good Guys store for $5600 Oct 25th :/. This is an amazing price for an amazing TV!

  • Bought $1000 gift card each from shopback but ebay only allow $1500 total max. Any idea?Cheers

    • +2

      You are out of luck

No more than a total of $1,500 in Gift Cards may be redeemed per transaction

      https://pages.ebay.com.au/ebay-gift-cards-terms/

      • +2

Lesson learnt. Thanks for the link.

        • No worries. It is frustrating even having a restriction like this. With Amazon at least you can keep adding unlimited number of gift cards to your balance for future use.

  • also got 83" $6695 | 55" $2034.90 | 48" $1895.25

would think we may see a 15% off tgg eBay being black friday week, may be worth holding out see if it happens

    • It may be capped like some previous years. Either way, it's low on stock on ebay so I suspect it'll run out soon

  • Arggghhh bought this from JB last night for $5050 inc delivery…but at least they have already given me a delivery date this week…is it worth cancelling the order to save $250 through this deal?

JB doesn't have a phone number to cancel online orders, it says you must submit an online request "and we'll get back to you within 4 days" (!!)

  • +1

    Thx OP!
    Just pulled the trigger.
My ebay plus membership was expired a week ago. But when I sign up again, there is an option "first month free". So it seems that I have saved another $4.99.

  • Got HN price matched it

    • How? They said they don't pricematch ebay

      • depends on the person you talking to. then I use easy-to-aquire & heavily-discounted HN gift cards smashed it.Endup I paid less than $4500 including delivery

  • Just jumped on this deal, great value compared to previous prices.

  • bought this (delivered) and received a call an hour later to say it's going to be ready for delivery tomorrow. didn't expect it to be so quick as delivery ETA was 3 weeks

    • would you mind sharing what area are you from, VIC?

  • +2

thanks got one. Vincent says all 77 and 83inch should be Evo panels: https://youtu.be/n3ybAVc2gzI?t=259

  • I don't have ebay plus but I can't see a promo price like you often do with plus. Is this valid in QLD? If so I'll get plus.

    • +1

yes Australia wide, I'd hurry as it now says "limited quantity available"

      • Says 3 available on mobile.

        • +1

It's said that all day today since morning I bought, but have been 36 purchases so far

  • Just signed up but sadly ebay won't post to far north qld 😭

I have a good guys here in Cairns so I can get it at $5k.

  • Anyone in WA got a call from TGG yet about delivery?

  • received my delivery today

  • Had to call their 1300 352 929 number to organise delivery date, pretty much any day from next day onwards so selected Saturday

  • Guys,
If Good guys physical store can match this price of $4745.25, is it good deal? OR is there any chance of this price going further in next month?
I was planning to buy 65 inch, but stretching budget for 77inch. Still bit confused between the two.
This is going to be only TV in house for forthcoming 6-7 years hopefully. Don't want to regret later for not going for 77 inch, But also don't want to pay too much for it.
Planning to use 2000$ 10% discounted Home cards with it.

    • +1

Is that free delivery? You can use ShopBack for further discount

    • +1

you can see if they can include the gold service extra which gives you a 30d price guarantee. Better buy now than miss out as these tv are really popular. I don't see it going for much cheaper than it is (Possibly Friday?)

    • Finally bought 77 C1 from JBHifi for 4500 + Delivery (59$).
Price was 4700+59 delivery. Used 2000$ worth HOME coupons bought from last 10% sale.
GoodGuys was also ready for this price…But JBHifi seems to have better warranty terms (3.5 yrs) than Goodguys.
Got 2.04 Meter receipt. :-) Delivery on Thursday or Friday.
      Thanks guys.

      • great price. just wondering if you can share the receipt? would like to try and price match if you don't mind?

        • Just tell them of good guys ebay price. If one store, does not want to, call other store of same company. I got them to agree price on phone.
I just showed them snapshot of goodguys ebay price when I went there. The salesman also was not very keen on verifying the snapshot in detail.

      • I dont have ebay plus to list the further discounted pice, so if you dont mind sharing the receipt? I want to go today to buy one :)

        • shared

          • @Sub: Awesome thanks heaps, ill try my luck

      • How to share receipt? Ozbargain does not have that function.

              • @kamahl: Awesome mate! Happy for you!

I got mine delivered today. Its huge!
Atleast I felt that, moving from 43 inch Kogan :-)

                • @Sub: Hey Sub, thanks for the receipt.
Unfortunately, JB being difficult said they will only match the price if the order number is shown and no blackout it :( . Any chance you can PM to me? It’ll save me $250 Understandable if you don’t want to. Thanks anyway

                  • @Corgii: PM'ed you order number.

                • @Sub: Thanks mate, i get mine on Friday. I also ordered the soundbar SP70Y after the salesman was able to price match Betta @ $595. I am hoping the soundbar will give me the cinema experience!

      • only one?

  • Those who have an Amex Explorer CC can use the $400 travel voucher as cashback at Harvey Norman. So I bought 4x $1000 gift cards at 7% cashback from ShopBack, paid the remaining $995 with my Amex to get the $400 credit back. So, $930x4 = $3720 + $595 = $4315. FREE delivery too! Best deal yet!

Ordered on Tue, yesterday received a call saying it would be delivered today

    OOS.

  • Anyone in sydney got theres yet?? Order 23rd Nov
Still no sign and no updates on expected delivery dates…
Where can i call to find out more info?

    • Same for Melb. They don't respond to an enquiry requesting ETA. Tempted to cancel the order, as past the delivery window and they won't even make contact. This price will come up again.

  • +1

Ordered this TV for my dad since Black Friday.
I called Thomastown VIC store on Dec 9th, was told 60 units were meant to arrive since Dec 7th but are delayed, should arrive within 2 weeks.

Called again Dec 16th and this time it took 4 calls to get through (hung up on once).
Guy said 50 was meant to arrive since Dec 3rd and there are 5 others in Victoria waiting. Asked for ETA and he was a dick about it. He told me he already said Dec 3rd but now it could be today, or tomorrow, I could get a refund if I want.
Told me since I ordered from eBay, a robot processed my order and robots makes errors, that's why my order didn't get fulfilled. I laughed when he said that.

Bad experience for me personally, spending nearly 5k and they make you feel like it's your fault for even calling them.

    • Totally agree. They ignored my queries and when I raised a 'have not received my item' request they told me to close it, or they'd refund. If I close it, I can't raise another.

      • So, I didn't respond in 24hrs, so they cancelled the order immediately. Terrible service.

        • +1

Agree, terrible service and sorry to hear. Hope you can get one around that price when stock becomes available again. I'm still waiting anxiously.
