[WA] OzBargain 15th Birthday Perth Meetup

Would anyone be keen for a Perth Ozbargain Birthday meetup?
I did go to the 2019 event and had a great time at Mac Daddy's with the free feed, shirt, bag and bargain banter.

Time and place is flexible, but Saturday seems popular so how about the 11th of December?
Same venue as last time is now only open nights, so any suggestions for an alternative, please post a suggestion!

Sorry guys, I've got a lot on my plate at the moment and won't be able to go through with properly organising the meetup.
However, if anyone is keen to take over to sort it out, let me know and I'll post a link to your new meetup post.

    I’d be keen to go. I’m pretty sure that I was overseas at the last one.

    There are bars that have free rooms. I could look into it if I had an idea of how many people would be coming. And what ozbargain was prepared to pay for. It’s getting really close to Christmas however so it may be difficult to source a place. You’d probably want one on east public transport for all the tight arses out there without a car.

      A bowls club could also work but it should probably be near a train station

      You can search the site for "WA" or [WA]" as WA state-specific deals will generally have [WA] in the title.

        As @Dungeon Master can no longer organise the event, I can mark this as cancelled, and you can post a new forum post about a new WA event. It would be a good idea to have the date/time/venue up front rather than asking the community for suggestions — often too many people having too many different ideas. Just set a date and confirm a venue, and whoever can turnup will make their way there.

    Would Sunday the 12th be an option instead? since alot of people already have 11 Dec (and other Saturdays in December already booked).

        I have been subscribed to the daily Ozbargain emails for years. Never registered as I didnt need to comment on anything. This was exciting and since I had to login to comment, I registered and commented. thats all.

    I only came across this thread today, but I will be ok to organize the meetup. I just have to book a venue and order food right for Saturday, December 11, 2021.

    T-shirts would be nice on the day, if it is not too late.
