Black Friday/Cyber Weekend is still a few days away and the bangers are already rolling in!
Today from 6PM-8PM AEDT we'll have 10% Cashback on all Amazon Categories (Capped at $25 Per Customer), so be sure to read the instructions below & start saving those items to your Wishlist!
I've covered some important info under "GYB's Notes", so please take the time to read through those.

Side Note: Tracking can take up to 48 hours to appear in your account, if it doesn't within this timeframe then please send me a DM to advise.

GYB's Notes:

  • You can place multiple orders, but there will be a Cap of $25 Cashback Per Customer.
  • If you wish to place multiple orders, you must exit and re-enter through our ShopBack links between each transaction for all orders to track.
  • For orders over a combined value of $275, you will initially receive more than $25 Cashback, which will later be updated to exactly $25.
  • Items sitting in your Amazon cart prior to clicking through our links will not be eligible for the Flash Sale Rates.

  • Cashback is ineligible for Pre-ordered items scheduled to ship over 60 days post-purchase & Reoccurring Subscribe and Save Orders.
  • Cashback is ineligible when products are Returned, Exchanged, Cancelled, OR use promo/voucher codes not listed on ShopBack.

  • Does it matter which Shop Now button is clicked? Because they take you through different URL links and act different eg one link loads Amazon on current tab the other opens Amazon on a new tab

    If I max out my 10% off up to the $25 limit, can I then return to the usual Amazon cashback rates for ongoing purchases by clicking through Shopback again?

    I just can't seem to find the normal Amazon link right now, which I assume is due to minimising confusion for people.

    Won't get the full $25 cashback, as the cashback is ex-GST, but got close.

      You should get the full $25.

        • The Cashback is calculated ex GST - so a cap of $25 is of a ex GST of $250, which is $275 inc GST.

  • Hi gyb, I made a purchase on the dot of 8pm. Will it get tracked?

    • Similar question, I thought I placed my order at 7:59 pm, but then re-synched my pc clock just to make sure it was accurate and the correct time was 2 minutes later! The Amazon order confirmation email is also time-stamped 8.01 pm.

      So is there any leeway with the timing?

    • I believe that if the order was exactly 8pm, you'll be ok.
      If it was 8:01pm, you'll likely miss out.

      • I didn't screenshot it at the time, but the conditions of the cashback appeared to be an expiry at 8.01pm. I don't know if that's something Amazon would honour?

        • Not sure where you saw that? I have a screenshot of the Flash Sale page on ShopBack and it variously says: "6pm-8pm AEDT", "Valid for Orders Placed Between 6pm and 8pm AEDT" and "Valid from 6pm to 8pm AEDT".

          So I'd guess you could argue the case for an order put through after the clock turns 8:00pm but before 8:01pm, but I'll probably be out of luck if my order was indeed placed at 8:01pm unless they (I guess 'they' would be the Amazon Affiliates team in this case?) decide to allow a little leeway.

          I sent a PM to gotyourback last night about my order and he said if the order misses out on the 10% rate because of the order time it should still qualify for cashback at the regular Amazon cashback rate (which would still be 6-7% for my purchases). He also offered that if it tracks at the lower rate I could send another PM and he (she?) would see if they could do anything for me.

    • That's what I did. Hopefully it gets tracked. I haven't got any notification of tracking yet. Is that normal?

      • I tried to cancel my order but already in process of shipment. Should have wait longer. But again like lottery you won't know the future.

      • Are they manually tracked? Is someone looking at each order as it goes through?

        • Not manually tracked, we simply rely on Amazon Affiliates to report the order.
          They're a little slower than our other Affiliate partners at reporting orders.

      • I ordered last night. On my click activity it says Amazon Australia Flash Sale, but no tracking email yet or any indication that the order has tracked. Should I be worried?

  • My usual payment method was strangely declined for my purchase and I got a email late last night asking me to update the payment method. If I retry it will I get the 10% as it still shows the order date as the 24th or will I only get today's shopback rate as the payment is going through on the 25th?

    • It should come through as the 24th, but if not just reach out to me directly and I'll see what can be done.

  • Still hasn't tracked, haven't even received acknowledgement for the orders from Amazon yet..
    Order was done through the ShopBack app and orders are showing as Ordered in my Amazon account with a delivery date of next week. Orders are both fulfilled by Amazon AU too.

      Amazon will take a little while to report orders back to us.

    • Amazon doesn't bill your payment method until the item ships, I think it should track once it's been sent out.

      Tracking is starting to trickle in now.
      Over the next few days the rest should come through.

      I've had $4 of my $15 come through now.

      • BTW, a store rep also uses the service he/she sells is an indication it is a great business. Looking at most of the past shopback deals, many gets snatched up very quickly, I sometimes check shopback app before checking ozbargain app in case I miss a great bonus cashback deal. Result speak louder than words. Thanks again for the great deal.

  • Mine's tracking now but only the amount excluding GST. Is this expected?

    • Yes this is standard across all Cashback providers as we do not get paid commissions on GST values.

  • I placed an order with 3 items in it for $300, just received tracking with a random Amazon order number at a value of $0.64. Will give it till Saturday to hopefully resolve itself

    Edit: seems the app has correct details, also initially I was going to “order history” to see my previous tracking which is obviously incorrect.

    • Mine did the same, it showed $4 at first and then the rest trickled in and updated shortly after.
      I think Amazon just had so much to process that they did it in batches, and probably will be continuing to do so over the coming days.
