I had a good experience initially getting my white card at Start.

People should check if their employer wants to pay for their training first before buying this though

    • Thanks for the comment. Yes people should check with employers, we often have employers putting employees through courses. We also work with some of the bigger employment agencies along with individuals paying by themselves.

Check with your employer and if you are part of a union check if they offer any support as some unions have training allowances that they can reimburse you for.

  • I did one course here and had good experience.
I needed some help after the course finished but Customer service lady was helpful and sorted things out for me promptly.

    • Thanks for the comment and we're glad we were able to help you out. If you need any help in the future just let us know and we'd be happy to assist. Thanks

  • Dumb question but if you do the Earthworks course can you rent an excavator or is there anything else you need to do ?

    • +1

Hi, once you have your excavator ticket then yes you will be able to rent an excavator. They can be dangerous machines if you are not familar with them, with all our students we want to make sure they are comfortable. Our excavator courses are open ended, typically students will be with us for 2-3 days but you can keep coming back as long as you need until you are comfortable. Our trainers are always happy to help after the course also with questions or extra training.

  • When does this expire ?

Hi, we plan to keep these prices in place until the end of December this year. A lot of our students are upskilling and trying to gain employment, we have tried to keep prices as low as we can during covid and lockdowns as we understand a lot of people have been dropping shifts or losing regular income over the last few months here in Victoria.
