I am tempted for my upcoming trip.

But then Manfrotto Pixi MTPIXI-B Lightweight Mini Tripod, Black ($19.99, 47% off) + Manfrotto Universal Smartphone Clamp ($14) totally just $34.

Which brand is better? JOBY or Manfrotto?

  Manfrotto is the better brand, but different products. So depends on your use case and priorities.

    Yeah but the GorillaPod is pretty niche. I used to have one of the medium(?) sized ones and had a Manfrotto head on it. Worked wonders when out exploring.

      Oh yeah, great for attaching to handrails and such.

      But not the most compact vs like a wallet tripod. And doesn't quite stay still enough for long exposure / astrophotography (in my experience).

      So depends on what you're after.
