Not a bad price for a game that will inevitably get harder to find - even more so compared to Nier:Automata.
However, use the current Afterpay deal and possibly match it with another $11 product or pair it with 12 months of PS Plus like I did.
Add $2/$6 for delivery if you can't C&C.
Also, EB Games price is $36 under Black Friday Super Sale so you can get it there too.
Like you said, niche titles are harder to find.
These games receive low print runs and are usually priced quite high at release. Since the average gamer won't touch NieR, these games just sit on a shelf for months/years on end. As a result, the people who buy these games (like me) will simply wait it out until a sale inevitably happens and then strike.
The irony is that once the game is finally OOS at retail, prices for JRPGs rise accordingly.
A good example is Megadimension Neptunia VIII (PS4). Chances are, there is probably a copy of this 2016 $79 game still rotting away on a shelf at your local JB Hifi.

It's also an open industry secret that despite a ton of titles being de-listed, there are a ton of de-listed games that still have listings for the entire purpose of eb games doing dirt cheap buy ins on them, and then sending them straight into their ebay accounts to sell for hundreds.
Last PAL AU godzilla ps4 sold for an insane amount.

I loved Automata, and really wanted to play this. The graphics and combat are great, but doing fetch quests really got to me after about 7 hours and I stopped playing.
IMO If you are on the fence about this game, just play Automata again.
I agree about the fetch quests but I still enjoyed this game very much. It was the most memorable game for me that I played in a while. I played replicant first and after doing ending A in both games I don't know which one I liked more. Replicant's story gripped me a lot more and so did it's characters…but gameplay wise everything about automata was better. Graphics are good in both but automata is much better. Soundtrack is amazing in both, but I liked replicant's much more.
I'm going to try and do more endings for both games and my opinion on automata's story might change, but that's how I feel for now :) can't recommend these games enough they're both great.
Game is fantastic but I did go a little insane grinding for Ending E (definitely worth it though imo)
I bought it for $70 from Amazon AU months ago & haven't started playing yet due my huge backlog! Excellent price!

Other than I've noticed a lot of more niche titles seem to be these days. (And I only realise it way too late.)
