Blow up psu, tech fast $288 cheaper even with ryzen. Must admit, $2388 is too much for a fire starter unfortunately

    • disagree with the above negative comment regarding Gigabyte 80+ Gold Label power supply, has been use this power supply for most of our machines for the past few years, no one single faulty with it.

please consider all the quality parts using in this build, and the machine comes with full 2 years Return to Base (RTB) warranty.

I have several friends who have used that PSU, and they also report no issues with them. I can only assume despite their tremendous failings and refusal to really admit an issue exists, they may have fixed something. But I personally just don't trust them with PSUs anymore :/

Regardless, it's not the kind of part you'd want to include when offering a deal to this community.

        • +5

We have update the list with allowing changing of Power Supply to some other brand with no extra cost.

    I bought this rig from Momo & JuJu late last week, once the money cleared it shipped and arrived the next day. Very happy with the shipping. I upgraded the CPU, Cooler (AORUS 240) and RAM to 32GB and this is where we ran into some issues with the post sale customer service;

    • Point 1 - They forgot to plug in / include the Micro-USB to USB header cable for the cooler. So whilst the cooler works (I think) I had no way to monitor or change its settings, temp, fan speed, pump speeds etc when I first advised them the display on the cooler wasn't working properly they just said it was a "Software issue" and offered no further help. I did all the investigating myself to discover the missing cable

    • Point 2 - The included MOBO, Gigabyte B550M AORUS ELITE AM4 Micro-ATX Motherboard, ONLY HAS ONE MOBO USB HEADER so in order for me to have the cooler working properly and have access to control the LED's in the case I have to have the LED's plugged into the USB Header on the mobo and have a regular micro USB cable going from the cooler, out the back of my case and into a regular rear side USB plug. I did not check compatibility with these components as I made the erroneous assumption that the PC store that was selling / building the computer with these available upgrade options had done their due diligence on the compatibility of these items.

    • Point 3 - I have been in contact with the store about these issues however they are yet to advise me how they are going to be remedied beyond sending me the missing micro USB - USB header cable.

Troubleshooting and diagnosing this problem has taken me about four hours as this is the first time I have used water cooling in a PC build. It is fortunate for me I have experience building PC's that I was able to recognise and diagnose this issue however if it were someone who was less knowledgeable they would have no idea that things weren't working the way they were supposed to.

At this stage I cannot recommend this store to other users, even with the money you might save on a build.

Thx so much for this review, definitely not professional enough and TBH their attitude is bad when comes to post sale support like this. Kind of you are on your own, not our problem really.

      • We care about our customer and after sale service, and that's why we have reply every single emails and record every tech job we have done. Without fair satisfaction from the customer, a shop shouldn't be a shop.

That's why we have left our contact number and shop address at our contact page. Any problem, please come to see us, or call us. Have a chat, or see what we have to offer.

    • Thank you for your honest review, we would like to acknowledge your professionalism, which helps us to become a better shop to serve everybody.

In our defense, this system is approved by Gigabyte (hence Power by Gigabyte), the original specification is fully pre-built and tested before the post. The add-on however, is not in the drawing board, that’s why we all miss that the fact the best microATX motherboard from Gigabyte has only one 9 pin connector, which leads to one internal microUSB cannot be connected after all the upgrade option has been selected. This is not affecting the functionality of the add-on of liquid cool, its minor issue that the Aorus app would not recognize the existence of liquid cool that’s all. The easy fix to that issue is simply connecting a micro USB cable externally, the app would pick up the liquid cool in no time, thank you for your discovery.

Please understand we need time to reply to all the emails we received from all the customers. For your 10+ emails, we have replied to every single one of them throughout days and night.

The gaming rig should be working nicely and smoothly. We are happy you are enjoying your PC.

Previous MomoJuJu posts in quotes and italics, my replies in standard text. Link to original comment here (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/11465103/redir)
My aim in writing up this in depth review is to give other OzBargainers an honest account of my experience to help them make the best decision for themselves but also a genuine desire to help Momo & JuJu improve and hopefully grow their business. It's bold to open a new business in the best circumstances and the current pandemic situation is far from ideal for most things, let alone opening a business.

I would also like to point out that though this experience has been frustrating for me I do not think the people working at Momo & JuJu are being purposefully malicious or misleading, probably just inexperienced.

When I spend $3K on a new PC I expect all of the parts included to be compatible and work 100% and I also expect a certain level of customer service which was not met right away in my view.

I had to ask for an itemized invoice the register to products with Gigabyte Warranty, as they were offering an extra year warranty on GPUs and Mobos when registering, (for which I had to ask for info from the packaging for the mobo which also not sent with the build while the GPU, RAM etc packaging was) and further to this, at no point has anyone simply said "Sorry for the inconvenience". Helping me out with these issues after the sale was done has come off to me as more of a chore for your business than a desire to keep and retain a customer.

"Thank you for your honest review, we would like to acknowledge your professionalism, which helps us to become a better shop to serve everybody."

    Thanks, I appreciate your understanding!

Respectfully, in my view if your store is allowing upgrade options for a particular build of PC it would be my expectation as the customer that the store has ensured compatibility between all the upgrade options they're offering as extras to the build. I understand totally that mistakes can happen (e.g. simply forgetting to send the cable) but that is very different to the cable not having a plug available on the motherboard provided in the build.

"This is not affecting the functionality of the add-on of liquid cool, its minor issue that the Aorus app would not recognize the existence of liquid cool that’s all."
I'm sorry but not being able to monitor or change the settings of the cooler pump speeds and fan speeds IS NOT a minor issue. There was no way for me to know for sure if the cooler was functioning or not without being able to monitor it via the app. I understand that the cooler was technically functioning but being able to monitor and control the pump and fan speeds is part of the reason I decided to buy it.

"The easy fix to that issue is simply connecting a micro USB cable externally, the app would pick up the liquid cool in no time, thank you for your discovery."
I discovered this fix by process of elimination in the trouble-shooting process. I'm glad that it worked as well but I would not recommend it as a permanent fix.
"Please understand we need time to reply to all the emails we received from all the customers. For your 10+ emails, we have replied to every single one of them throughout days and night."

I have no issue with reply times, they were generally good though the replies were sometimes short and did not seem to convey genuine concern for my problems (however I will put this down mostly to the slight language barrier and the impersonal nature of text based conversations). I feel it necessary to point out the number of emails I sent also entailed me updating you on my discoveries as I was trouble shooting and also included me correcting the photos of my PC build you sent me which were in fact, not of my PC.
For those wondering, I was able to negotiate a replacement and upgraded motherboard, with the appropriate amount of USB headers for a discounted price with no further shipping costs to myself. Though the process has been frustrating I consider this to be a fair compromise for both parties which I am happy with.

I wish you all the best!
