  • This, or UE Boom 3 for $140?

Note: The Anker has been cheaper in the past. Not saying this isn't a good deal now though.

    • this was my decision also, most videos/reviews point towards this one.

"the best speaker $100 can buy"… Cannot be bought for $100.

    • I think they meant 100 USD.

  • Cheers - got it even cheaper earlier this year but it arrived with a dead battery. Hopefully better luck this time. Shame it can't play nice with my JBL Charge 4.

    the deal still valid mate

  • Got one with a good battery this time. I think it sounds a bit better than my JBL Charge 4 maybe with slightly less bass but being stereo it seems to produce a more detailed "sound stage".
The bluetooth connection is noticeably worse though; it won't work reliably out the back of the house where I usually set up the Charge.
I do appreciate that when handing back to the living room (PC) speakers when I turn it off, it attenuates them to 10% so I don't get blasted.

  • Desperate for a good Bluetooth, portable speaker. Hope there's some deals soon.
