Xbox Wireless Controller with Wireless Adapter $95 (+ $30 off First Order Afterpay) + Delivery @ Mwave

130

Been shopping around for a controller to play Forza 5 on PC for a while now. Came across this Mwave + Afterpay promotion.
If you live in Sydney and don't mind going for a drive to pick up your controller, the price comes down to $65 total. Only works if you haven't purchased through Afterpay before though.

This is part of Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals for 2021

Damn, I'm hoping to get one of these for a good price without needing Afterpay.

    • I did see Xbox controllers at the target website for 78 or 79 dollars

I was hoping for a better price.. but they are HOLDing on these controllers

      • Yeah, but I want the adapter which is another $29 separately…

If you can score one of these for around $90, that'd be a solid deal.

I just bought a $4 no brand bluetooth adapter from Amazon. Works fine, no lags.

        • What does the adaptor actually do? I mean XBox and the computers all built-in Bluetooth why do we need an extra adaptor?

      • didn't find anything at target website.

But yes, i've been waiting for like 6 months now but they seem to be increasing in price than decrease!

Good deal if you have the afterpay discount, and this controller is great for Forza Horizon 5. The textured triggers with rumble are fantastic and audio through the controller with the Xbox adapted is a good bonus.

  • Any idea if the wireless adapter works with the nvidia shield?

    • The Nvidia shield has bluetooth. I use my Xbox wireless controller with my NVidea shield no issues. You don't need the Xbox adapter. I play Forza 5 through my NVidia shield with no issues or lags.

      • I've tried using the bluetooth but I get bad input lag when using xbox game pass (could just be gamepass issues)

        • I experienced the same but put it down to game pass. What makes you think its bluetooth?

          • @drinkin-beer: Ah alright, well I haven't tried any other gaming services and was reading up that the shield bluetooth is pretty bad

  • Fangin for a deal on Xbox Elite Controller…

I am also in the market for a controller, but why this instead of the cheaper wireless? Is it just because OP doesn't have Bluetooth?

    • +1

That is exactly it. I don't have Bluetooth on my pc.

$2.48 fix off aliexpress! Just search for 'PC Bluetooth adapter'

    • It is a wireless controller but it comes with an adapter so you can use it with your pc.

      • Yep, and I'm sure you know this, but the regular controller can connect over Bluetooth.

    • errr… i have an Xbox One (not X nor S) - the standard white one with disc slot… this controller will work as a second controller on xbox one, right?

Confused that there's mention of wireless vs bluetooth… does that mean this is for PC only?
