I've always found Gigabyte to push their parts beyond what is healthy, while cutting down on quality. Just my personal opinion.
I'm Asus, MSI, Gigabyte in that order
I definitely see a lot of negativity about Gigabyte cards. But I was hoping for a 3 fan… decisions decisions!
i used to have a gigabyte 1070 and it had the worst coil whine, its what putting me off getting it.
if there was an evga card at this price right now i would get it.Good to know. That would drive me insane. maybe I'll keep holding out for a three-fan miracle.
I have a Gigabyte GTX 1080 G1 gaming OC, the fans failed and I replaced, because I got an heavily used mining GPU cheap few years ago. And TBH its a solid card and boosts like crazy (default bios).
I'd go MSI over Asus any day… and never Gigabyte.
