    Basically nothing for Perth.

    Lame.

  • $59 flights Launceston <-> Sydney shown at Jetstar.com.au don't seem to be showing on adioso.com.au - any idea when the site will be updated?

    • Hey there, we have some of them, but they'll continue to be updated in the next few hours.

      • Great, looking forward to it. I love the "round trip" feature you guys have so I can pick the best overall flight prices - something the Jetstar website lacks :(

  • As person proud to be from Ballina, i think that the "to Byron" flights on your website should at the very least be changed to Ballina/Byron (considering the airport is actually in Ballina).

A)Classed as false advertising as a flight to Byron
B)People fly to Ballina for the sake of going to Ballina also.

If you asked any local in Byron where is the nearest Airport, their response would be Ballina/Gold Coast, not Byron.

    Theres my 2 cents

    • Cool, thanks for pointing that out, we'll be introducing a better way of naming destinations to take into account these kind of considerations. Sorry to cause any offence!

      • not offended. it has just always bugged me when people say flying to Byron Airport. I was annoyed when they decided to change their name to Ballina/Byron but i can that has tourism merit.

  • +1

Good stuff, just booked Sydney Hobart return for $138 per person. Flying on a Friday and Sunday during preferred hours too! Looking forward to checking out the shitting machine at MONA.

  • I love how Jestar will fly to places like Newcastle and Byron but not bloody Canberra. Instead I get quoted $450 return to fly to adelaide for a weekend…

  • Nice examples, but no international ones from Syd?

    • Just added some.

  • 29% off Brisbane to Semarang (dropped: $142, now: $332)

Is this a new route? Which airline is this?

  • A little warning out there for other Ozbargainers. My last 'cheap' flight from Jetstar cost me over $2400. The airport carpark guys stuffed up and left us waiting for the shuttle to the airport from the 3rd and most distant overflow park (all the others were full). I tried ringing Jetstar to say we were held up at the airport carpark - they refused to put us through to checkin or have any meaningful conversation.

When we arrived at check-in with a bunch of other people also for the same flight. The check-in was just closing. It was 1 minute after the 1 hour cut-off before the flight. I offerred to dump our luggage and just go as a walk on - we had a 90th birthday party (and the last as it turned out) to attend. The Bitch at checkin refused. I had to scramble over to virgin and buy a couple of Perth->Melb tickets for a plane leaving at about the same time (before all the other jettisoned passengers tried the same). They cost me $1200 each.

I'll never risk flying with Jetstar again. You might get a cheap deal. I hope you dont get screwed like we did.

BTW The Jetstar flight was late as it turns out.

    • :(

Jetstar has effed us around quite alot, i plain refuse to fly jetstar, will pay the premium to fly Virgin. Unless of course i get jetstart flights SYD-OOL / SYD-BNE for under $50…
