    No. The 12600K is still more expensive than the 5600X, aside from the cost of a Z690 board.

    You cannot. The cheapest 12600KF is around $450. Quite a bit faster than the 5600X though and often faster than the 5800X and 5900X.

    Am curious how the future 12600 (non-K) and 12400 will compare against the 5600X.

    I believe he is referring to the 11400. Not as fast or efficient as the 5600x, but 1440p and above I don't think you can justify the price difference for just pure gaming.
