  I use to get those expensive stands above, but in the end, I got these from Kmart for $4, they hold Laptop, iPad etc…works really well, they're pretty strong too.

    the IKEA GREJA napkin holder makes for a good $3 laptop/tablet stand
    the sides pivot inward to match the thickness of whatever you put in it, very stable

  I had actually been looking at these laptop stands to keep the desk tidy and have more space during lockdown.
  However just last week I decided to try some of the kids old duplo blocks, but the space was too small/large. So instead I grabbed some unused lego chunks to create a makeshift stand.
  Pretty happy with it and does the job, especially considering it was $0 :)
