        I’m asking would it make much difference if it’s a cartoon? I can understand getting 4K if it were a movie or a wildlife doco.

          @ne-us: Not a huge difference for cartoons, diminishing returns above 720p. You might get less blocking in highly compressed video and some better edges around objects but it's nowhere near as noticeable as 3d or live action.
