Officeworks sell for the same price, no point in buying from Amazon.

    • Thanks, I'll add it to the description.

can it play cs go at 144hz

  • That CPU…. It’s gonna be painfully slow. It’s decent enough in a headless NUC running Linux, but full blown windows.

    • Maybe good for command line SSH?

    • You're not the intended user for a laptop like this, people buying cheap laptops 99% of the time are clueless and couldn't care what sort of CPU is in the laptop, as long as it can do the basics.

This crap will fail at the basics. The first big Windows update that comes along will likely fail due to insufficient storage.

    • Have a netbook touchscreen running celeron n3050 - painfully slow on windows 10. But with an SSD, and disabling 1/2 of windows 10 features, you can have it running nicely for web browsing/emails/movies

Not the best, but may suit some on a small budget.

      • The combination of 4gb ram+emmc is just…crippling. Either is quite bad, but together they're orders of magnitude more horrific. As you said upgrading to a proper SSD would be life changing if this laptop supports it (but that's unlikely?)

Surely this is worth no more than $150? This is essentially ewaste today?

It was ewaste the second it rolled out of the sweatshop tbh

    bigggest OOF out there

    the goggles they do nuzzin'

Actually that's probably the least oof at this point. Id go a proper SSD, 8gb ram, or a better processor before the screen.

      A) processor is just really slow
      B) 4gb of ram is really cutting it, and will page out memory a LOT…to an emmc drive!
      C) paging to an emmc drive will be disgusting. Booting windows from emmc is borderline.

This laptop is only acceptable if spending $500-600 means skipping meals (yes, people are in at situation).

      • I’d probably recommend a refurbished Dell with an I-something

Hot ewaste garbage. Other comments have already explained why.

Anything on this ebay list is superior to the one being sold here for a lesser price.

There are more choices if you ease up recency of processor options.

    • half of those on that list are sold as faulty.

  • Geez this sort of crap is just awful. Buy a quality ex-Corp machine with far better specs (and likely reliability) and forget about this junk.

  • Better off buying a 2nd hand dell laptop. For the money you can easily get a 5th or 6th gen i5/i7 laptop with 8gb ram, 256gb ssd on eBay

  • This is a garbage bin for old parts.

  • Comment Not intended against OP but against Lenovo

  • This is suitable for child care only to watch youtube rofl.

    • A smart android TV is cheaper and better for that, with less lag
