After today's Dicksmith Server crash. And lines and lines at Dicksmith Stores, I was told by the store manager this Thursday is the 2nd round. Only half of the items on the list was listed today.

Thursday is the round 2 and 2nd part of all the items on sale!

There will be Consoles, Games, More Logitech Gear. So look out for it!

The Dick Smith 7 Million Dollar Game Clearance begins April 2nd and the news has been confirmed to be online and in stores. Dick Smith are not able to advertise the sale due to consumer laws regarding high demand and limited stock.

By the looks of it though, it is alot of the same stuff they had fore sale before, so what is going to be left? They going to get more in? No console deals? Dsi look like $40 now, but where is the stock. Are DSE gunna look like gooses again? Timne will tell…..

Worth noting that the number of items in the 0-25 dollar bracket for "Gaming and Movies" has increased from 307 on the 9/4 to 373 on the 10/4.

There are some new games added to the cheapies (Medal of Honor PS3 now 5) and a couple others have had their prices dropped again (i.e. Fracture PS3 was 10 now 2)

Items reduced for the advertised catalogue sale are showing the sale price online, but apparently are on "sales hold" until tomorrow.

Can the mods bring back the deal "Nintendo Dsi XL $40 - Dick Smith". You've removed it as duplicate but it had so much information there as to what store has stock and not. Otherwise please link those comments to this thread.

    The info is public. If you cannot be bothered going to the Dicks website, to check stock, then its your fault. Why would anyone want it plastered all over the main page?

      Calm down sissy. The stock info on Dick site isn't really accurat. I called one of the stores which was showing out of stock only to find out they currently have 3. Another which said instock said they only have 2. Explain?
      
      I posted name of 2 stores which would be a waste of time and another which had plenty in stock. Just trying to let ppl know.
      
      If ppl want to keep it to themselves then so be it i'll keep the info to myself too.

does anyone happen to know where in melbourne i could get the COW MW3 stainless water bottles, called up a store with stock (springvale) but was told has been sold out, obviously staff are too busy to actually check stock. but if anyone notices any around a heads up would be great. i'm willing to pay for postage also if anyones nice enough to send one to me.

Just picked two TDK $5 headsets and $10 Soney Bluetooth Headset for PS3. They only had 3/4 DSis and the people in-front of the queue got it.

I was one of the lucky ones to get 1 dsi xl from Seven Hills. They only had 1 of each. Those guys were really good today. Only 2 ppl in line before me and they gave 1 console to each. I think that was very fair.

I got 1 DSI XL and my wife got 1 as well (we have 3 kids). we lined up at 8am (first in line) this morning but there were only about 20 people out the front when it opened

yeah there was only 2 DS at my local store, first two in line got it, i missed out
but got the games i wanted so more then happy with the outcome. plus every game and accessories in store is 30% off

Just got back from DSE Rouse Hill - got there at 8:30 with about 5 people waiting, at 8:40 the manager came out asking who was waiting for DSIs and there was 8 of us by then which was lucky because they had 9 consoles so he gave us each a barcode and we all got one - really happy with the service! I was dreading going in after the bad reviews and told the guy and he said they were trying to fix the issues from the last sale.

I scored well this morning. Rocked up at 8.20am waited 40 mins. Got wireless ps3 steering wheel for $10, Nintendo DSI $40, TDK headphones for $5 bucketload of games for $20, (include DSI games for 85c. Only bad thing was a bunch of d***heads rocked up at 8.55 and tried to barge in one kid went face forward into the table. The idiots then tipped the table content off and there was a scramble on the floor for the left overs. Luckily i kept in front of them and got what i wanted.

Much better than last week where i lined up and they had nothing.

I think a lot of people thought the sale started tomorrow they are going to be disappointed.

Also wanted to say that DSE learned quickly from their mistake by making it 1 per customer. I got the last DSi but almost missed out thanks to the wanker who pushed in. Only had to wait 15 minutes this time too.

  Not all stores did the 1 per customer, the person in front of me got the last 2 dsi's and I asked if they had any left but they were holding another 2 out the back for someone else. Oh well I got a lot of other stuff though so I'm still happy.

    The store I went to said one DSI each which was fortunate because the person in front of me wanted to buy them all for her kids. They told her she wouldnt be allowed to buy it even if she brought more family members with her.
    
    I was thinking of buying two steering wheels (gift for someone else). But decided it was unfair to do that if other people were in the line.
