Crucial 8GB DDR4 3200 MT/s (PC4-25600) SODIMM 260-Pin Memory - CT8G4SFRA32A

I have received the RAM. Unfortunately it's 1Rx16 instead 1Rx8. Its performance is 20% lower than the x8 version.

BTW, I ordered 2 but only paid $68. There was $10 promotion coming from nowhere.

FYI, 16GB is $92 (from the selection menu).

    • I don't think thats the dual-ranked one as it has different model number to this https://www.mwave.com.au/product/crucial-16gb-1x-16gb-ddr4-3…

I bought the MWave one and can confirm that it is dual-ranked as shown on CPU-Z

      • was it x8 or x16 though? there's no guarantee whether you get x8 or x16 or 1r or 2r with many of these sticks.

        • its in the specs

@meong: Yeah sorry I meant the ones on Amazon are more of a lottery.

    • Can I buy 2 x 16GB sticks to make a 32GB kit, it's just cheaper.

  • From the test results OP has posted, it appears the single sticks are x16 based, and the kits may be both x8 version, hence the price difference. Can anyone confirm please?
