  Well I'm no expert. Just for general use, Netflix etc. No gaming. Not the really cheap stuff (not good value if it's going to die in a year or two), something half decent. Would like the smart functionality to work well. Sony seems decent with Google TV built in.

I picked up the LG A1 OLED 55” for a little over $1500. The OLEDs are brilliant.

Pretty happy with my Hisense A7G (albeit in 50 inch although they have in 55 inch too)

I use it with Chromecast exclusively though and used the money saved towards a soundbar as well

There is a Philips one that uses the LG OLED panel on here which goes for just under 1500 from memory, that should be on your list seeing as it's probably the only new oled you can count on getting
