    how can I get poweramp to see files stored on my home pc?

      What do you mean? As in music stored on your PC and you want poweramp to see it? Transfer it over to an SD card or through the cloud (Google Drive/Dropbox) onto your phone.

      There's no Poweramp for PC in case you were wondering.

        I'd like my phone (preferably, poweramp) to see files on my pc and play them via SMB share.

        I used to be able to do this via ES explorer pro years ago, (queue songs, folders, create playlists etc, all working in the background whilst allowing you to use the phone for other things) but it seems there are no apps with this functionality anymore, which is bizarre.

        The closest I've found is fx explorer, but it really doesn't work at all. I can only play one track at a time, and it won't play in the background !

    Been using Poweramp as well for a long time, best music player imo. Highly customizable, many things you can do with it that other music players can't.

  Musicolet has been my staple music player, is free, and works with AA as a bonus…

    Musicolet is good. But it doesn’t support Cue file to separate Ape file into individual track, this is annoying.
