With the 10% sale kicking off tonight at TGG from 6pm, Cashrewards are having a 10% cashback increase as well. There is a $50 cap unfortunately but if you prefer Cashrewards or won't be spending big enough to go past $50 then this is still a good offer.

Special Terms

  • During the 4 hour promo, cashback for The Good Guys is capped at $50 in total per member account, irrespective of the number of transactions made. Valid 7pm to 11pm AEDT 13/12/2021.

  • Cashback is ineligible on Apple, ASKO, Miele, AEG, Neff, Bertazzoni, FFalcon, La Germania, Loewe, Playstation 5, Playstation 5 Digital Edition, Xbox Series X 1TB, gift card purchases, concierge, delivery, GST.

  • Cashback is eligible on redemption of gift cards.

  • Cashback is ineligible on negotiated deals (phone/email/chat), and on any purchases via The Good Guys Commercial website.

  • Cashback may be ineligible if using codes not listed on Cashrewards.

  • You must return and click through from Cashrewards every time you make a new transaction/purchase.

          Problem is new Ultimate card are Prepaid Credit Cards (it comes up as credit cards)

                If it's put in the credit card section then I'd assume it would NOT count as a gift card.

                    @Xantar: Might flag as an ultimate card, but yeah I think it's specifically if you use a TGG gift card in the gift card field. Not sure the legalities of it though 😝

                    FWIW shopback are running the same promo, no cap, and also nothing about gift cards in the T's&C's (just says you can't get cashback if you buy a gift card).

            @Xantar: I would say it should work with Ultimate card (visa)
            However only valid for purchases up to the max value of the gift card ($50 or $100)

            Because TGG online purchase cannot split payments

    For those of you who have one, Westpac credit cards also have a $50 cashback offer on $300+ spend. Not sure if stackable as I'm unsure how cash rewards works but I don't see why not?

      I always assume stacking cashback through cashback providers (e.g. Cashrewards, ShopBack, Reward Gateway) with a credit card statement offer is fine, unless the merchant has specifically called that out as an exclusion. However, it is highly unusual for a merchant to do that, and the only example I can think of is Dan Murphy’s; on the Reward Gateway platform, their terms state that you cannot stack their 3% cashback offer with any AMEX cashback offers.

      You can redeem a maximum of two TGG gift cards in a single transaction through the online store.

      If you need to redeem more than two TGG gift cards in a single transaction through their online store, you can contact TGG customer service directly and they may be able to assist you, but then Cashrewards will not be able to track that purchase.
