  • I don't think this has been in stock for a very long time has it? It's normally sold with the carrying case.

I was just reading reviews on the case, the case is a P.O.S.

      • +1

I've got the case, it's okaaaaaay. It's bulky and tricky to fit the headset into but fine when you get used to it. Feels pretty protective to me, don't feel nervous about small drops etc.

Weren't any alternatives on the market when I got mine.

      • +1

I quite like the case, only thing is the zipper feels fragile and it's sometimes difficult to remember how the controllers are supposed to sit

  • +2

Looks like it's always been this price(4th of november)

    • Ah, yes, camels do have history, not much of a deal then.

    • From one of the reviews "Definitely worth the $110 imo."
So, could have been even cheaper in the past

  • +5

I would check out the BOBOVR M2 Pro before considering this

    • With the fan bit too. I just recieved the kit, looks pretty good.

    • 100% this. I bought mine on AliExpress, but there's a few resellers on Amazon these days.

      • I can't find one anywhere aside from AliExpress. Do you have a link?

        • Same here. I can only see the non-pro version on Amazon. I was looking for one the other day.

          I might order from aliexpress

@chromium: I msged BoboVR on FB, and they said they'd sent plenty to Aussie Amazon.
They also said to wait a week or two.
I'm tempted to just go with Ali as well.

    • I bought the Esimen M3 and can recommend that too.

  • Can confirm that this was the price I paid about 2 weeks ago for this. Good product, it certainly makes taking the headset on and off much simpler and the additional weight counter balances it well - definitely recommend

    • Yeah. I paid $129 about 2 weeks ago as well

Sold by Amazon so is eligible for the $100 promo credit if you have it from your Oculus purchase.

Ive been told by multiple peoe to avoid the official strap because it cracks really easy. The best alternatives are the BOBOVR and the KIWI Elite Strap Upgraded. Batteries are seperate tho but apparently better build quality. Im personally going with the KIWI.

    • They do have a 2 year warranty and Amazon will replace if you run into the issue of cracking.

I had 100 dollars of promo credit so I figured $29 bucks is alright and if it breaks I can easily get it replaced by Amazon too as opposed to going through Oculus.

Don't spend your money on this. They're flawed and end up breaking on most people.

Don't take me word for it? See here

  • I'm waiting for an Oculus Quest Pro

    • +7

I mean, I'm pretty good at it, but I don't know if I'd call myself a pro

    • I'm sure there's a virtual glory hole app you can check out.
