Seems like a fantastic deal. How does it compare to the X85 or X90?

Does anyone know if it's nantionalwide ? Have been waiting for really long for a good price of this mmodel😂

Just called Costco, none in Victoria.

Sony will pricematch if they have stock, however they add the cost of costco membership to total price

    • Discontinued model at Sony store so no price match. A good price nevertheless.

I price matched Costco's X90J at Sony during Black Friday this year and no additional costs were added.

  • support for VRR?

    • +2

Sortve… Yes it currently works but it also disables local dimming

      • welllllllllllllllllll

      • Yeah no. Not for 3k. Don't care how big it is.

    • Works but disables local dimming

Sony are still meant to release another update to fix that but who knows, it took over a year to add VRR from when the model launched so not holding my breath

I find there is a bug which sometimes makes the screen too dim with VRR enabled with my XSX, only fix is to hard restart the TV or disable VRR

  • None at Costco Ringwood

X90h x900h x9000h and a few other similar are all the same thing (as far as i can tell!).

I have the 85" x90h and IIRC it had x900h written on the box.

These are much better than the x85 (with varing 0's after) and a great buy at this price!!!

    • Yeah mine had 900 on it.

Nice TV for the price. Still prefer my old plasma to all TVs apart from oleds though.

Aww damn, just bought from JB for $3488 I think a month or so ago… and I thought that was a steal :D

    • +3

I got for $3665 from HN a month or so ago so don't feel too bad :)

      • +13

$4400 here i think several months ago…………… ok i feel bad.

I think you brought misfortune upon yourself when you decided your username…

when you buy an expensive TV, you must expect the price goes down in time, there is nothing to feel bad bros

    • +2

Same here. But dont worry that was still a good deal for last month when stocks were non existent. And we need Costco membership.

    Would love x90 65" for $1000

    • haha you wish, me too

  • None in Sydney 😟

So guys, how do you picked up the TV?
Is there a delivery service available?

FYI OP: With dropbox public sharing links, if you change the "dl=0" part of the URL to "dl=1", it will not bug you to "log into Dropbox" .

    • Done

      • +1

Also, there's an option of "raw=1" which will force an image to render in the browser, rather than the browser downloading it.

Perhaps that is what you need in this case. Give that a try.

Yea. Not a fan of clicking 'Go to deal' and a file trying to download.

  • great TV with mind blowing picture quality, I own 75" paid similar price six months ago.

  • +2

Got it for $3488 during the JB HiFi deal.

I fully recommend this to anyone on the fence regarding the size. Even the wall mount installer who was doubting its viability promptly took his words back once the TV was switched on. :)

Also one of the rare times I got to say "Told you so" to the wife :)

    • +4

Wait till she finds out you could've got it cheaper 😂

      • +1

Lol. Nah its a month later and she is not an ozbargainer like us and doesn't like Costco anyways.

Buggy TV. Don't get if you are wanting 120hz 4k gameplay

    • +1

Yes if you got a console it should be fine. Hardly any games are native 4k@120

      • -1

I had one and was running my ps5 through it and when playing at 120hz the graphics resolution dropped. Ended up returning and Sony gave me an x90j where it runs the 120hz games without issue.

  • Is this TV available to JB? And would they price match?

    • +2

It'll be very hard to find stock anywhere I think as it's a discontinued model now. I suppose you can call around and see if anyone has any left in their warehouses… but highly unlikely!

  • Anything is SA Costco!?

  • These are great TVs and good price for it; I paid $1000 more a while back on eBay (before cashback of course).

Not having been able to get to a shop due to lockdown; I wasn't quite sure about them - but I'm impressed with it when I finally managed to mount it on the wall (hard chore on your own - I live in the bush with no able bodied neighbors nearby).

  • I was devo when I missed https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/660310

Grabbed 1 from Ipswich, QLD. They had 2 Left as of 1 hour ago

North Lakes, QLD said they had 1 left

Thanks op,got the last display one from Costco Auburn store, store manager gave me another $500 discount,so total $2499!

    • +1

Wait so it’s sold out at Auburn? Booo

      • Yes…Called them this morning and only 1 display left

    • +1

I was about to get it from there, but the wifey gave me an uppercut. So thought other mates can enjoy it.

  • Got the last box from WA.
There's still 1 display left 1 hour ago.

  • None in ACT either.

  • I think I have this TV - I like it but I think it only has 32 dimming zones - it's really obvious during credit rolls and scenes that are predominantly black.

  • Bought this a month ago for around 3.4k. Best purchase so far and I've had a 65oled previously.
