    • Good one. That offer ends 31/12 so still have time to use it for those who able to receive the deal

If you are health care worker, they also have save 12c/L on myToyota.

    • But can't stack both :(

    • Is this for any fuel?

Also, would showing AHPRA registration enough?

      • If I recall, I filled mine with U95. I believe it works for Unleaded. I'm not sure about Diesel since I kind of skipped the majority of the T&C. I did have AHPRA shown but the guy at AMPOL didn't care. They said they are too busy to check everything. Just show them your nurse badge and they are happy.

Can we stack woollies 4 cents fuel voucher with it ?

    • +3

No you can't. But you can scan your Everyday rewards card to earn points.

  • NRMA is currently offering 8c for their members.
    On premium fuels.

    • -1

      That's nice of them…

    • +1

Really? I can't find that on their website, only says the usual 5c premium 3c regular discount.

      • +1

Might be targeted as I receive an email saying "You've been missing out on fuel discounts. So, here's a bonus offer to boost your savings.

Save up to 8c/L on fuel on your next 3 fills before February 2022…."

I am extremely surprised that they let me register my 2001 Echo and allow me access to the fuel offer with it.

    Thanks OP (and Toyota!)

About to try it with the ol’ 1995 Supra :p

About as cool as the Fast and the Furious franchise. Very cool at the start, then bearable, then after decades, cringy junk.

          • +1

@Charity: *Very cool at the start, surprisingly reliable after all this time, and worth more with each passing year.

But not available in the Toyota app :p

In the T&C's for one for their competitions, they've got:

Toyota vehicles manufactured post 2001 may be added to myToyota.

  • I got an email from NRMA - 3 visits with 6c/10c discounts.

    My local 7/11 diesel 147.9.

i go to costco, its like 50 cents cheaper per litre

    • Really unlimited? Seems worth joining Costco with this deal and other Costco deals?

      • +1

absolutely. granted you never leave without spending at least $100, but lots of great deals. rotisserie chicken, eggs, milk, toilet paper, paper towels, batteries, etc…. lots of great seasonal and limited items. there food is also great and menu changes. you also get a lot of usa stuff that you won't find at other stores.

      • +1

worth it if you don't mind sitting in line for the pump for 20mins. If fuel prices are high everyone goes to costco and queues go out into the street.

  • Does this stack with Uber Pro discount?

  • You can use that discount to pay for the remote start subscription

  • this doesnt work for old toyotas right? could i do this with my '92 MR2? (yeah im flexing)

    • I registered my 2001 Echo no problem (like you, I expected this to only work for newer vehicles) - give it a try.

    • +3

possibly not, useless car. Sell it to me.

    • I think 2001 is oldest they allow. I found on their website, "Toyota vehicles manufactured post 2001 may be added to myToyota"

    • Just use the rego TOYOTA in the app

I prefer my chopper over my Toyota

  • Okay my nearest Ampol 189.9 with the ozbargin 6 cents right…

  • Does this only work with the fuel type for the registered car? Was thinking if I could use my mum’s toyota to register but use it on my diesel car.

  • +1

@ 10c more per Litre in my area I'll pass.

  • Nice deal with Ampol but too bad Ampol near me is always about 15c more expensive than the budget petrol.

  • I got caught when Toyota decided to roll out a forced update of the app when I was travelling.

I normally set phone to autoupdate only when on home network to minimize mobile data costs.

After a couple of days away from home purchased some fuel, opened app to get discount and app decided that while I was buying fuel talking to the cashier was a good time to force a mandatory update and to decide to use a TFA via a email to validate my login..

Always fun trying to pay for fuel while the app screws you around, the cashier is waiting for you and the people in the queue behind you are not happy.. and I had purchase about 120l of fuel so I wanted the discount.. and the only reason I purchased at the fuel station was the discount made the price reasonable.

So in the end I was out of pocket thanks to the idiot developers of the app..

So.. the motto is .. check the app is working ok before you fill the tank…

    • I take a screenshot before I fill up.
