    Waiting for someone to comment something like "I bought one of these but it's useless because it didn't start my 4.0 Falcon".
    Edit also waiting "no good for my V16 Veryon".

      Fancy you mention this. I remember returning this item after it refused to jump start my chopper, and bought the GOOLOO instead. :-P

    Everyone be conscious that these can't be stored in the car in summer. Either they will degrade rapidly from the heat or expand and be other sorts of hazards. Cabin temp for acar in the sun is way hotter than the max operating temp of this thing.

      I shall sacrifice mine for science! Will report the results in 3 months.

        Had my Gooloo for 3+yrs, my car is always parked outside in Qld. My missus used it a month ago to help another mum at school jump start a 4wd. It hadnt been charged in 6mths.

        Dunno about this brand, but with claims vs reality YMMV

        • Of course, YMMV. There's gonna be an impact for storing it in heat but what impact or when it will die who knows.

            @aoeueoa: You said

            Yet I've done that, for 3yrs, in Qld and it still works, even after not having been charged for 6mths.

            who knows

            Yes, but for my jumpstarter your alarming claims haven't been true..

    • I was just about to ask this. THANKYOU! Was gonna get the kids 1each for xmas but northern nsw summer temps are always above 30°c (averaging 35°+, 45° on a scorcher). Leaving these in a glovebox would degrade the battery life and performance, yes?
      Is there a brand/model that can be kept in the car during summer or even would a cobalt battery be better suited?

      • If you look at all the big brands their specs say an operating temp lower than a car temp. So end result it will be affected, but how much is hard to say. Like m00cow theirs is ok in the heat - but that doesn't mean all will be ok when you need it.

        You might be able to store it in a small foam esky to help buffer the heat if you really want to keep it in the car.

        • Love the little foam esky idea!
          Might keep an eye out on a little esky to keep in the car at all times, so many uses.
