Just wanted to share that I was saw Rebel Sports have discounted the Forerunner 945 to $499! Had I not recently purchased a 745, I would be all over this.

Definitely cheaper on eBay and everyone can sign up for an eBay trial to buy this for that price.

Maybe buy the 745 from the OP… yeah it’s like a bloody swore on the arm. Little bit too chunky!
i have pretty small wrist and 935 actually feels fine during runs.
I think 945 is very similar size
Yeah it's a big watch. I think the 745 (similar to 245 size) is a better size for most people as a training watch.
Bought it a week or two ago when they had problems with stock. Great watch, but I expected better battery performance.
What’s the issue with the battery out of interest? I just ran a 100km ultra and it easily lasted the 16hours it took me and still had around 50% charge remaining.
Yeah mine took a day or so and a reboot to settle in. Getting great battery now.
I haven't bothered to work out how best manage power usage yet and I'm getting 3-4 days out of mine, with a couple of runs and music in. I reckon that's pretty decent :)
It seems to be lasting during activities, but the overall time it lasts before a recharge is around 3-4 days just as others reported. Mine 935 lasted a bit longer. But they advertise it to last longer than 935.
How is 740 then? It will be almost unusable.
Really, they push you towards the solar rechargable models like Enduro etc.
