I’ve got one. It’s bloody loud when you put it on the highest speed. Sounds like a hair dryer really. If you’re getting one, get the white one cause the black one gets very dusty real quick
I have a this and unless you have toddlers or young kids there is really no reason to get this fan AT ALL.

I use the DC Vorando more as it circulates more air and while slightly louder when at MAX speed it does a better job than the Dyson.
You comparing a air purifier and fan combo with just a fan?
I got this recently, it's not the strongest fan but it does a great purifier job and the app and remote control and programmability with schedules etc is awesome
Yes this item also has an HEPA air filter but it is being marketed primarily as a pedestal FAN.
My response is from my experience and if you want to disagree with my opinion I have no issue with itIf you want a proper air purifier get one of these.
I'm glad you find it suits your purpose for what you bought it for but in my opinion there are better ways to spend your money on other alternatives that are cheaper and do a much better job than this overpriced piece of junk.(The above is my opinion and if you consider your purchase to be sound - i'm ok with that. I'm not hear to change your mind and you don't have to justify your reasons to me, nor am I asking).
To be fair the top half feels cheap for a Dyson haha but it works damn well for my office.
I have a Philips 2000 series also however fact that the Dyson has fan built in makes it a little more useful especially In QLD

Directional Fans (blow air towards you)
Air Circulators are not meant to blow air towards you but create a strong stream of air which when facing a wall the stream of air will bounce off and circulate the entire space.Refer to pictures and video.
Works well with an air conditioner for moving air into other rooms as well.
Do you find that the air circulator keeps the environment cooler vs a normal fan? I don’t have an air conditioner
@drakdaystar: Think of the air circulator as a cool breeze and that by moving the air in the room you are in does slightly bring down the overall ambient temperature.
If you live in a humid environment you will need air conditioner to bring down the overall room temperature.
There are plenty of youtube videos about the Vorando air circulator.You can still use this as a direct fan if you want but that isn't the purpose of this item.
