  • A very nice game if you like those Samurai feel, overall it's the fixture of different open world game (No puzzle like BOTW) and has it's own unique fighting system which is the most recommended part of the game.
Story is a bit meh…but well it might be the form back in the old Japan so…
Gameplay: A bit repetitive after Act 2 but still challenging especially the DLC part.

    • Don't forget Legends multiplayer. My current go to multiplayer game at the moment.

      • Haven't work on that yet…I heard it takes ages to finish one mission and if anyone in your team drop out from the line then your whole effort means nothing afterwards…

        • Not in latest update. In Nightmare mode if anyone drops out you can open matchmaking and other can join in mid game.

In gold it takes 30min, Nightmare can be done in 40min. I like the old version though, gold takes 45mins.

I loved the art style and gameplay but I found it VERY repetitive after a while. I didn't end up finishing it. IMO, compared to RDR2 the environment in Tsushima doesn't feel nearly as alive.

I am over half way through ACT 2 and still quite enjoying it as a whole, but I find the random Mongol/bandit encounters are bit repetitive.

The environment doesn't exactly feel alive, but it is quite a spectacle.

Amazing on PS5, especially if you the TV and sound setup to support it.

I got burnt out by the time I finished it and barely touched the DLC, but the main guts is more than enough.

    Highly recommended!

    • DLC is quite challenging but feel a bit short…

  • I still haven't played my PS4 copy, gonna wait for PS5. I'm hoping the standalone DLC goes on sale at some point.

Not quite the cheapest ever (that was $76 during Black Friday)

Was slightly cheaper on eBay ($69 or $74 depending on code used).

    $79 at Kogan too currently.

    • Not sure why you'd order at Kogan over the others but I've added it to the OP, thanks.

Would be a good option for those with credits, and there's also a $5 bonus gift card with $50 gift card purchase from ShopBack, and $20 cashback from $100 spend (targeted) at CBA rewards (if you wanted to buy something else with it for $21 or more).

Great deal for newcomers but damn, I wish they'd have a deal to incentivise original PS4 Ghost owners along the upgrade path. The 1. Ghost DLC and 2. PS4 > PS5 digital upgrades end up costing near the price of buying the PS5 copy inc DLC. I have yet to see a deal on it, in fact. Just shows how egregious Sony is with charging for digital content.

Yep. I’m not buying the directors cut until the ps4>ps5 upgrade gets a discount.

    GOTY.

best game of the last era of the PS4 by far… this price is not great though… its coming up to 1.5 years old, and sure they've just added DLC & theres loads of content and a great online (though it is well into declining hard), but i'd consider even $50 for the full package pushing it at this stage… they have milked the hell out of this game. only worth it if you've somehow missed it & super keen because theres not much reason to have a PS5 at all til early next year when actual AAA next-gen games start dropping.

  • If you still haven’t used Commbank 20$ Cashback on 100$ spent on Kogan then its perfect time. It will be 63.2$ after 20% further cashback. Find something 21$ stuff and make it 100$.

  • Worth buying it now or wait for the Christmas sale?… whenever that is

  • Does anyone know if a save from PS4 non-director's cut edition will work with this one? I finished the game and sold the PS4 disc. I would buy this one just for the DLC and then I would sell it again.

  • Get a $32 PS4 copy from amazon and then buy $30 upgrade pack. Much cheaper.

    • Does the $30 cover both the PS5 upgrade and the Director’s Cut DLC?

      Apparently not. It’s $45.
