Banger of a game. Well worth it at this price point.

I snagged a copy at this price from a Black Friday deal.

    • No, it wasn't.
It was $59 during an Afterpay promotion.

still doesn't change the fact it was 39

  • If you buy through kogan atm prepare for a long dispatch, it took 8 days for then to prepare my order of a phone charger for shipping way faster to buy through Amazon

Got mine for $39 from BigW

    • Ohh! Was it $39 before?

    • Damn. I was going to order at $59 but can't now.

I havent even got my PS5 yet so I am happy to wait.

      • At $59 it is a great game. Plays well and looks great with ray tracing at 60fps.

This was one of 2 games I really wanted (Spiderman Miles Morales the other). I got Spiderman already so I will wait and see how the price goes for this. They both look outstanding from the gameplay I have seen.

I am waiting on my call to say my PS5 is ready to be picked up. Then i need to finish Spiderman so I can hopefully get a deal boxing day on this. Ideally I want digital copy. But goddamn the PSN store looks overpriced.

          • @mxlegend99: Picked it up this afternoon.. pretty happy with all the free PSN games that came with upgrading. Hopefully a sale on PS5 games on the store over Christmas.

Gotta get through my pile of shame first. Hopefully by that point it will be a “PS5 Classic” for $10

    • +6

Eww I'd rather pay triple to avoid that ugly Classics cover.

  • Thanks Op!!

Thoroughly enjoying this game so far, but be sure to turn down the controller lights and adaptive vibration as it'll kill your batteries real quick.

    • +1

Hell no, that’s half the experience! Controller should still last about 8 hours. The low warning notice is misleading, still has 30-50% charge at that point.

You can also plug in an external power bank and keep going.

    Great game.

For those with 120hz TV’s, there is a display mode in the game that runs at 40 FPS with 4K and Ray tracing. It was my preferred way of playing on my 65” LG CX.

Not silky smooth like performance mode but significantly smoother than fidelity mode.

    • +4

why are you saying "for those with 120hz TV's"?

      • +1

it is known that every ozbargainer has a 65" LG C1

        • It was a genuine question… I mean why does it matter if we have 120hz TV if we end up running on 40fps mode anyway?

          • +1

@meong: I believe to prevent screen tearing, your display's refresh rate needs to be a multiple of the game's framerate. 120 is a multiple of 40 whilst 60hz (standard refresh rate) is not.

Bought this a few weeks ago. Good game. If anyone is looking for a copy in Brisbane for the PS5 I'll let it go for $30.

  • Great game - the second game I ever platinumed.

  • Just ordered this for $34 on Catch, spend $60 get $30 off using phone app with code APP30. Its also free delivery, no Club Catch needed.
Code seems to be targeted as I didn't receive the email but my wife did.

    Credits to @Damannation.

  • Price matched with EB (their price was $124). Thanks OP!
