  • Never any deals on Yokohama (gling-gling) tyres 😔

Sounds like you find that tyre-some.

LoL, best tyres ever, expensive and wear quickly, but anyway…….

        • I was told that good tyres wear out quickly. This was during an advance driving course.
Example they gave is a block of hard rubber vs soft rubber. Push them across most services and the hard rubber is easier to push (less grip), but the soft rubber leaves bits behind

@smurftastic: I'd much rather a set of tyres that will handle great, not aquaplane, brake well and potentially stop me in time if a kid runs out in front of me instead of a cheap / harder / long lasting tyres that will often not do any of the above. Seriously good tyres can be as cheap as an extra $50 a corner compared to cheap and nasty tyres. Spend the extra and get a good set of tyres for your car.

            • @Mellows: As an ex mechanic once said to me never scrimp on tyres & breaks these are the two most mission-critical items on a car.

    • They sometimes have the buy 3 get 1 free thingies, that’s how I got my V105s.
