Increased Referral Bonus $20 with $100 Spend at Decathlon

40

It looks like Decathlon has increased the referral bonus to $20 with a minimum $100 spend.

Previously it was $10 coupon with $70 min spend and $10 with $50 min spend (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/636312), so a slight improvement.

Note that the sign up bonus without referral has also been updated to $20 with $100 min spend.

Join as an MVP, get confused.

Also keep in mind once you register, the voucher is valid only 24 hrs after the registration and you have 30 days to use it while spending $100 or more.

    • I signed up with the referral link but didn't get the $20 voucher.
I did get the MVP $10 off for $100 spend voucher, valid for 6 months.

  • Not sure if this is 100% correct but it seems like you need do the following…
    1) Click on the referral link
    2) Close any pop up box to join
    3) Wait for a box that say "Get your $20 voucher $100 minimum spend" then enter your email address. Click on "Claim your Gift"

The comment above from @sintro is still important - must close the pop up box that is covering up the $20 voucher offer.

On the OzBargain scale, the whole store is a bargain hunters paradise for outdoor stuff. Makes me cry to think how much could have been saved at Decathlon instead of Kathmandu and Macpac over the years.

Going overseas? The prices are even lower (30-50%) in Decathlon stores that I've compared, ie Singapore, UK, Italy, and Taiwan. It's totally worth checking your destination country's Decathlon website to see where it's cheapest to shop.

IMHO Decathlon needs to bring its Australian pricing down inline with other countries and it would take off like a rocket here.

    • Great tip, I'm heading overseas and just did a check- prices are indeed lower than Oz!

Sign up for the membership, it's recognised by the self checkouts overseas. Just scan your barcode or enter your email and checking out is a breeze.
